I'm not yet convinced a sod will ever be turned at Caulfield. I don't blame the club for this. A project like this is always going to cause controversy in a local community. You only need a couple of well connected local "dog walkers" and it's all over. The fact remains the central area at Caulfield is massively underutilised. As soon as a plan like this pops up every local sporting group will be asking the council "Why not us?"

I’m not trying to patronise here but read some of the accounts of people who lost everything. The way companies contact big losers and load their accounts full of betting money so they can lose it and more because that’s what gambling is. It’s a way of losing your money over time. It needs regulation just like all corporations do. Sheesh, look at the world and tell me that corporations don’t need their wings clipped. At its essence it comes down to curtailing greed, we’d all be better off if that happens, you, me, everyone!

Yes but we don’t normally advertise these vices to children but hey anything for a dollar……. You might want to read some of the practices these scum roll out to lure more money out of helpless addicted souls.
