On this topic I think it’s fair to reason that our club has not been as professional as we would have hoped. I’d suggest that a Premiership helped mask a series of internal issues that need sunlight and solving. Looks like egos at dawn to me.

2022 - Petracca played with a break in his leg and Max was hobbled........there's 2 very good excuses 2023 - Lost the QF even though on just about every metric we should of won regardless of who was playing. That would of put us into a Prelim.....that's the one that got away.

That’s fine however why would a state government feel the need to back this project if it’s not what the community want? Especially in a marginal Liberal seat. The MFC need to hope they can hold favour with what is likely an incoming Liberal State Government, even though I’ve no idea when the election is or how many times the Liberals will shoot themselves in the foot before then.
