PREGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon
The definition of a âpot shotâ is quite subjective. My recollection is, I believe before WCE in Perth, you âpottedâ my suggestion of Fullarton coming in for the match with comments that were not complementary to the player. Thatâs my recollection and no, I havenât gone back to check, preferring not to spend anymore time on a forum than necessary, which on the contrary could lead to eventually becoming obsessive, prejudiced and perpetually wearing a âone eyed blinkerâ. As I said âitâs subjectiveâ, and all opinions are just that. Thatâs something, IMO, that is lost on a select clique in this place.

Too Predictable
The problem with some people on this site is that :- 1. They are so biased they only see everything from an MFC position, therefore their field of vision is extremely narrow. 2. They have a belief that their opinion is worth so much more than others to point that they are always right and everyone else is always wrong, or so they believe. 3. Due to the âpositionsâ they hold eg: Cheer Squad âleaderâ, regular at training, long time Trident/ MCC member etc, they believe they are more entitled to express their views than anybody else. 4. The Face palm emoji is their weapon of choice.

Are you not just âcalling people out â ( âon their bulls#$tâ ) for having a different opinion to you?

CASEY: Rd 14 vs Northern Bullants
If they wanted someone to play purely a defensive role on Andrews wouldnât Petty or even Turner have been a better option ? Fritsch therefore having more freedom. On the other hand perhaps they just wanted Fritsch to apply the normal defensive pressure expected from a key forward these days. In that case they would have been wanting Fritsch hit the scoreboard as well. IMO, the end result of the match up was negative for us.

PREGAME: Rd 17 vs West Coast
Surely they canât drop Moniz or Tholstrup after tonightâs efforts. Therefore : Salem in for Woewodin. K. Brown in the 22 Windsor sub Would really like to see Sestan and Fullarton ( for Chandler and either one of Turner or Petty ) but it looks like their cards have been stamped, at least for this year.

PREGAME: Rd 16 vs Brisbane
In Sestan out Chandler, doesnât get it enough In Fullarton out Turner - better relief ruck option than JVR, IMO, and Max surely will benefit, now and in September ? And for those who bag Fullarton, before heâs had a chance, WHY did the FD recruit him ? In Lever * out Howes Keep Tomlinson , play taller down back, Tommo is better ground-ball player than he is in the air, and whilst not quick is mobile. K. Brown start as a small forward with Pickett. Bowey sub Weâre not cutting it ATM so why not trick it up. Donât worry about the number of changes. Through forced circumstances we have potentially found a star centreman in Rivers. Sticking fat ( on reputation ) hasnât worked for a while, sit on your hands = expect the same result.

A new dawn for the Demons - our 2025 squad
My metric for coaching performance is 1. Premierships 2. Beaten Grand finalists 3. Beaten Preliminary finalists 4. Total Final appearances I rate making a GF (WB 2021) higher than MFCâs last 4 Finals. Making the top 4 ( end of the H&A )is completely overshadowed if you then go out in straight sets.

Just saying, Beveridge : 1 flag, 1 runner up Goodwin : 1 flag = Bevo currently ahead on points , IMO.

Christian Petraccaâs 2024 Season Ending Injuries
Notwithstanding his health is the only concern at the moment, a side issue is , the incident highlighted how disfunctional our forward line really is. That is, your best midfielder, arguably the best or equal best in the competition, needs to stand under a pack to provide a deep forward target.

Christian Petraccaâs 2024 Season Ending Injuries
Long, long time ago I was at the game were John âSamâ Newman was injured due to receiving a knee to his back. I have read that due to the good fortune of his Father being in the empty changerooms with him meant immediate action being taken which averted him bleeding to death. He lost a kidney and has lived 57 years with only one. Get well Christian.

OK, but who takes the blame for the shortfall?

The equivalent of Marcel Marceau, never says anything but sure does like the emoji buttons, especially the Face palm. Very enlightening đ One of Goodwinâs âTrue Believersâ , a club whose membership is dwindling by the day.

PREGAME: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne
Please letâs see Sestan, Tholstrup and Fullarton. Surely Petty has to be omitted on form. Turner, Billings, Laurie donât look up to it. Chandler, Sparrow, Oliver and Fritsch have unsatisfactory and should be dropped even just to make a statement but the cupboards bare so theyâll stay in.

PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
In the scheme of life, One could say that the timing of a Team announcement has zero importance. Outsiders would say who cares, be patient, knowing early wonât affect the result. Hard to argue. However, the AFL and each clubâs existence is acutely reliant on the passion of Club supporters. Passion creates interest, starve the interest at pay the price. Itâs not like the Game will survive on the spectacle only. IMO, the Suits at the AFL and MFC have bugger all idea.
