The whole system for for evening up the competition is not working. The AFL has to be more important than the individual or the competition will end up like the EPL. Imagine the new norm for the MFC is that we finish bottom four every year , early draft picks seemingly nice. Petracca , Oliver, Gawn depart for more money, prestige etc. We will never see a flag . What can be done , how about clubs are are made to keep their first round pick ....... cannot trade. No trading future picks. Players wanting to get out of their contract perhaps need to go into a pool, allowing bottom clubs to have access to better players. Perhaps we can go back to the ten year rule. I would be spewing if we have both Brayshaw and Viney at the club next year. My preference is for both of them to be gone. I would also like to see Goodwin gone however this not going to happen. I would prefer Ben Brown over T.Mac. Brown has kicked big scores before. Someone Has suggested Jones is given a coaching player roll for next year. Pure madness.

Players wouldn't care less if Hogan comes back to the Dees . Maybe they would ask him , how was your holiday.

Don't expect much in the draft for Preuss ,ANB, younger Mcdonald. I recon it will be 4 th rounder , 4th rounder and 5th rounder respectively. younger mac at best rookie list . We have to trade or get rid of Viney or Brayshaw, as proven that they cannot play in the one side. Personally I hope they both leave. If we don't trade T.Mac then we are unlikely to get a key forward player. Our list as it stands is not a top four side. Rivers could end up with second year "blues" next year. OR he might be our solution in the forward line. fingers crossed.
