Goodwin gets to choose his coaching staff , some selections is not what other clubs would do. If you were a Langford would you take notice of a Nathan Jones as you mid coach ? We are not the only team to have coach killers in their team and will not be the last. Goody may get sacked soon so what. Supporters do have the right to complain as we are not a successful and a destination club. Hawthorn have been the most successful club since 1960 which they won 12 flags (one in every five years). Fritsch will be back in the seniors next week despite kicking less than 2 goals and having less than 4 kicks , that is the way it is at Demonland.

May and Petty forward .Turner and Adams back. Van to stay forward. Petty can ruck a little. AJ to come in. Fritsch sub or Casey not doing a enough. If Melsham is back then in. Maybe Viney or Oliver plays forward. We need to shake the apple tree up, too many players riding the gravy train.

If Fritch is kept in check ( i.e 2 goals or less ) we seem to struggle. Chandler ihas not been a focal point for years. Yes both players may be doing what is required by the coach , still we are getting beaten more often than we should. Melsham and Kossie may make a difference when they come back. Kossie should only play forward as he has more goal sense than most other forward. Hopefully someone kicks a bag of goals against Norf.

No mention of the Casey V Coburg practice match 16 March 2025 at 10 am. Perhaps our reserves ain't worth anybodies time !!!!!!

Jonesy is going to show Petracca and Oliver to play midfield ? Another investigation on why the club is failing in 2025 !!!! I suppose some people aspire to being 2ND best.

We need to pick up 2 big bodied mids(one definitely) . Kozzie needs to remain a forward , none of this mid time [censored]. Petracca can play forward not FF or CHF as he is a bit short. Turner will make it as a key forward. Petty may make it as a forward , still the jury is out on this. The small forwards could come from Chandler , Sparrow, McAdam possibly Bowey and K.Brown. Mids :- Oliver, new guys , Langdon , Windsor , McVee and Rivers .

It is all in his head, just needs someone to "poke the bear".

I would offer him a rookie position and only play him defence.

The media paint whatever picture they want you to believe (brainwashing). I originally thought Houston not coming to the Dees was a bad thing, but we would have to cough up pick 5. Keeping picks 5 and 9 is great as we get a chance to improve our midfield department. Also we could play Tracc forward which is a win win for us. We could also pick up a younger version of Houston , this all depends on the type of training our coaches are capable off. Personally I would get in a person that has not got AFL experience as coach , a visionary who can think outside the square. This person gets to smooth things out between players and staff.

Hopefully we can get 2 out 3 of LANGFORD ,SMILLIE and TAURU. No small mids thankyou.

I have supported this club for 66 yrs, since 1965 we have NOT been a destination club and trhat explains why we have only won one flag since then.

Another strange move by the Dees, what position does and Verrall and Fullerton play? I would pick up a tall delisted mid from another club.

We would need Geelong's 1st and 2nd round pick plus their next year's 1st round pick. We could bundle up all these picks for an early 1 st round pick. However this is not going to happen because Geelong's 1st rounder is going to the Dogs for Bailey Smith. An alternate would be Oliver renegotiates his salary for less plus less time. We then can accept Geelong's @nd rounder and a future 1St plus a player. None of this is going to happen.

Kozzie to Port , Houston to NM. We NM 1st rounder then we get Peatling from GWS.

Depending where you look McCrae wants to come to the Dees. Petracca can then play forward which would be good for us. We do need to draft two young good midfielders and probably have someone else from our existing who could that role. Preferably not Kossie. What was funny on a website that getting Dersken ( no senior games ) and a Tom Campbell was a mini team rebuild.

As for backups (temporary possibly) Leek Aleer (GWS) Macrae and Caleb Daniel ( WB ) . Hunter offers nothing and to a degree so those Chandler and Sparrow. Where does Spargo rate, anyone.

Footy coaching is a hard gig ,one minute you are the flavour of the month the next your not. Forget injuries being an excuse , the fact is we didn't pick up suitable back up players to cover our losses. We need a better system for to improve our young back up players so that they have a good opportunity to play seniors. You can call this thinking outside the box !!!. With clubs delisting young talent especially mids we need to recruit a couple of them. Not everyone gets on with the coach of the day and in fact may underperform. The club has made too many reckless decisions regarding list selection and on that basis Goody needs to go. Didn't Percy Jones coach Carlton to runner's up one year only to be replaced by Jezza.

58ER, I have supported this club for 68 years and I have put up with many many frustrating years.For us to win only one flag in 57 years is shocking. I suppose your'e one of these people who don't mind constant failure. I can say that I actually enjoyed our dynasty in the 50's.

We have gone backwards at a rapid rate of knots since our first double elimination. What did we do, we pick up Grundy who we assumed was going to kick goals. Stupid move. After several concussions to Brayshaw ,surely we didn't have a backup plan for his replacement as he was not far from retiring due medical reasons. Guess what it happened. Who was going to replace Oliver or Petracca if they got injured? We did end up using Rivers as a mid , this should have been done after the first double elimination also we needed to pick up mids. We have plenty of ex senior coaches , doing a variety of what? Surely one of those coaches should have been the reserves coach. Why does a club need a CEO and a President ? think how much money could be saved by only have one. If Godwin leaves Petracca probably will stay (hoping) ,if Petracca I will support another club.

Goodwin should be replaced based on past performances, however he is likely to stay. A clean out of assistants is needed . We need to get a proper forward coach as a definite. For Trac to say he wants out, whether it is based on injury is of major concern. Our forwards are basically non existent we rely too much on Fritsch to kick goals , shut him down then we are totally r.s. We have Chandler,Fritta and Kossie (who also plays mid) as ineffective forwards. Petty and Turner defenders playing as ineffective forwards. We also have a lack of good reserves, ones who can step up. We have to look at being bold at selection and therefore make sacrifices. I would trade Kossie to Port, Petty and ANB to Adelaide. Would like to pick up Houston (P.A) Tilthorpe (adel) McRae (WB) and a young gun mid. Turner to keep on playing forward. Trac becomes a forward. Also I would trade Salem.
