  1. Yes. The links and Armstrong talk has dropped off pretty quickly for a lot of clubs. Maybe it’s a tactic, but won’t be one of our picks (which I’m stoked about)
  2. Armstrong is the slider. Cal has said a few times now he thinks he could get to Richmond’s picks near the 20’s. Interviewed poorly with numerous clubs.
  3. Too many sleepers on Xavier Lindsay at our pick in my opinion. Reckon he’s a red hot chance to be the one even if Allan is still available. (Although Richmond picking him at 6 wouldn’t be a surprise with their confidence of Smillie getting to pick 10).
  4. Tauru, Lindsay and Mentha all Gippsland Power boys. Hmmmm👀
  5. Bowey was pretty much stuffed after that injury in Round 1. Not many players come back flying after a 12 week injury.
  6. They are all flights risks when the WA clubs offer them such big money. Even more so when they are guns (which is what Jason Taylor drafts more often than not)
  7. I’m not worried on Jeffo. But Turner will never be a May replacement. He’s the Lever replacement if anything with the way he plays as that interceptor. Petty also doesn’t look like a number 1 to me, a number 2 sure but not the general. We need that hulking full back like May.
  8. Was looking forward to this, still tonight? 😂😂
  9. We need a May replacement not a Lever replacement lol
  10. Langford and Lindsay is a great combination I reckon. Still think there’s a chance we slide back with 9 though and get an extra pick in the 20’s.
  11. Just can’t see us taking Langford AND Allan. 2 190cm+ left footed big bodied mids? Dont think so in my opinion.
  12. Brayshaw was completely unexpected. Had completed the whole preseason before the testing results came back so all the mechanisms to get a replace right then were shut. Unfortunately just extremely unlucky and terrible timing. Not to mention he was integral to us. Mcadam *unfortunately* is nothing more than a depth player.
  13. Every VFL player has a local parent club. Playing VFL is their priority and they then play local when there is a bye or not selected.
  14. Yep. A spot would just be opened up so you could have a train on player who could be signed in the ssp or keep a list spot over for the mid season draft. Wouldnt be available at the draft I don’t believe unless he was officially finished on Monday and then there would have to be special exemption from the AFL to add an extra pick in the draft (which is unlikely)
  15. I remember the outrage on the night when we picked the last bolter of the draft 👀 a certain red headed #13.
  16. Agree with this. Article says O’Sullivan has been “linked to north in the last few days so if they opt for him Tauru won’t make it past Melbourne”. think they stick to the bolter. Not sure anyone has ever considered O’Sullivan being available at our pick. Wonder if that makes us pivot from Langford or at least think about pivoting?
  17. Gussy Brayshaw was massive on the body language stuff. We really miss him dearly in so many aspects 😢
  18. Mail. They’ve been offering that deal to the Saints for a while though as well. We’ve had multiple interviews with Xavier Linsday and Cooper Hynes also and they haven’t consistently been in top 10 calculations, so clearly something being explored to slide back.
  19. It is picking for the sake of it if the player isn’t at the level required. Just because we NEED a key position player doesn’t mean you just bust a pick on one who you don’t rate as highly. That’s lunacy.
  20. There’s been a few pick swap options. Port Adelaide was one for 13, & 29. The giants 15 and 21 for 9 also was there.
  21. Jackson worked out well for the flag, and we turned him into Windsor and hopefully another gun in Jeffo. Just the way it goes. Don't think anyone argues with our decision when they have a medal round their neck.
  22. Tauru isn’t just a key back. Can play forward and most recruiters think he’ll eventually be a midfield option.
  23. We don’t mention those names because Jason Taylor didn’t draft them and clearly there’s a reason for that 😂
