  1. David Stevenson was the CEO of the Bulldogs in their Premiership year in 2016. Of those mentioned on the unofficial ‘shortlist’, those names are certainly well credentialed 👍🏼
  2. Pretty sure they both signed with Geelong and St Kilda respectively
  3. No matter what happens, it’s never Trac’s fault… if you ask him.
  4. Your last point is the most apt. Stop playing the kid in the bloody ruck. let him be a forward and develop as one. We lose so much when he goes out of the forward line.
  5. Howes delisted? kidding yourself
  6. The club need to and should have a long time get a part time forwards coach (who was actually a forward) to come and work and develop the big boys. Cam Mooney did it part time last season with the Giants and all of those forwards said how valuable his knowledge was. A Tom Hawkins or a Jack Riewoldt (yes I know he’s with Tasmania). Doesn’t have to be full time but a couple of trainings a week to help them. it’s a blight on the club that this has never happened.
  7. Sorry to rain on your parade but he’s staying on in his role at Collingwood as well as coaching Fitzroy 😂
  8. Some sort of financial agreement is reached for the two years remaining on his contract and then we can open up a list spot to either sign someone in the SSP or we choose to leave the list spot open for mid season.
  9. Steven Smith pulling the strings to get Fox in as CEO would be absolutely brilliant.
  10. Yep either *that* way 😂 or an unfortunate injury (which hopefully doesn’t happen).
  11. Our first call will be to Jack Henderson if *somehow* a list spot opens up.
  12. Would love 10 (Gus) & 30 (ANB) to go to Langford and Lindsay. Two premiership heroes who have sadly departed but replaced by two young guns.
  13. Max and Ed are in Qatar on a cycling trek.
  14. Echo what Andy said about the photos. Bloody awesome. thanks to all for the reports too. Full squad back Monday, can’t wait!
  15. Neither are a few others like Kozzy. Not required until Monday so let’s see then.
  16. *this was not a shot at those players saying they won’t make it. far from it.* From previous posts all throughout this seasons I’m one of Jeffo’s biggest fans. My point purely was that we suddenly have plenty of options underneath the so called first choice of Roo/Fritta/Disco/Petty*
  17. Haven’t misconstrued anything? Maybe you just misinterpreted my post lol I’m confident in a few of those guys to become regulars at AFL absolutely. reading back how worded it I can see how it’s been interpreted, I just meant suddenly we have a plethora of key position options all fighting for 3 spots. Am not, have not and will not ever question our recruiting department.
  18. Fullarton back to training too? All happening at Goschs. Our Casey forward line suddenly looks stacked with Kentfield, Johnson, Fullarton, Jefferson, and Verrall (when Campbell is in the ruck) 😂
  19. Lindsay is coming off a PCL so is probably a month or so off full training 👍🏼
  20. Believe you can spend up to 5 years on the rookie list but still only 3 years as a category B. So when we pick Mentha we’ll have 36 senior listed, 6 cat A rookies and 1 cat b rookie (Mentha). hopefully our second cat b in the future can be an Irishman 😁
  21. Johnson was drafted barely an hour ago and you’ve already got him as a potential delisting? You need a new hobby. not to mention a number of those blokes are contracted beyond next year🥱
  22. Moniz-Wakefield had to be upgraded to a category A rookie after 3 years on the B list. We will pick Mentha as a cat b tomorrow. One category B spot left over.
  23. This sounds good but it’s not reality. A bid would’ve come for Daicos if Collingwood had kept their pick. Just like if Brisbane had an early pick tonight someone would’ve bid on Ashcroft earlier to make them pay up. Sounds funny and all, but once those picks get traded in anticipation of matching with later picks, teams aren’t as fussed to bid.
