Trac and Viney are just being protected from themselves. Seasoned pro’s who don’t need to be rushed back for match sim. They’ve played enough footy and done enough training to miss a few full bore sessions.

Trac’s being protected and is back in full training next week. Windsor has a foot infection and will be back next week. Judd and Kolt are unfortunate and McAdam was a wildcard but no surprise that he’s injured. Other than that it’s a pretty clean list. Compared to other teams as well, I think we’ve had a great run at it so far… touch wood.

Absolutely. But often when a young player gets a hamstring injury, they may think it’s worse than it is because *usually* it’s one of their first “nicks” or “tears” to the hammy. Same goes for the first time you get other soft tissue injuries for the first time. They’ve never had the feeling of a muscle pull so could think something minor is a lot worse than what it is because it’s a foreign feeling. Hoping this for Judd of course.

The little snippet of Lindsay getting through traffic with the turn and evasion then hitting the target was great to see. What a bonus to get another duo of guns in with Langford/Lindsay.

Would’ve liked to have seen a shorts sponsor too. Didn’t have one for most of last year until Hertz took it on in the last third of the season. Hopefully a new one in the coming weeks.

Stocky guy sounds like Mitch Hardie (ex Geelong). Tall long haired sounds like Jai Culley (ex West Coast). Both signed with Casey.

Sparrow sat out training after a heavy hit on Monday with a laceration on his cheek that needed multiple stitches. (Unsure if he’s officially in concussion protocols but not taking any risks) Chandler has a slight ac joint injury, not a serious one. Club isn’t too concerned. Kynan Brown escaped the “syndesmosis” with his ankle injury (from Monday’s session) which is great news.

Persist with this kid. Definitely something there I reckon.

I’m aware there’s not many fans of him on here, but don’t think many kids would get the pace of the game when they go from sub one week, to vfl, to a full game, back to sub, back to not playing at all due to being a carry over emergency. This isn’t just Laurie either, Woewodin in a similar position. Maybe neither will make it, but a consistent run of games (possibly even at another club) would show if they’re up to it whereas the chopping and changing of it makes it near impossible to get a fair crack at it in my opinion. (Yes I’m also well aware football isn’t fair😂)

He is indeed the Father of Brayden and Corey yes. Been with Casey for many years. That connection is why Maynard had strong links to a move to the Dees a few years back.

Surprised they haven’t trialled him more as a small speedy pressure forward. Seemed consistent him on the wing or off a forward flank. Should get a crack in the F50 under the forwards.
