Just what we need another guy who doesn't really have a position he is elite at but just "good" at a few different roles. We have "good" players problem is we need a few very good & elite players!

Blues or Hawks is the word. Wants top dollar to for a bloke with terrible injury history.

I'd think a Whitfield type or a real speed run and carry guy is who we are after.

We are getting Ed Langdon so unless he was willing to play for pretty much nothing i'm not sure why we'd be chasing him. Depth with injuries was an issue but obviously the price point is the key with Masten. All in all i'd be thinking other clubs could make a better offer to him.

In light of this a good idea would be to let Frost walk as loosing another tall is a good idea!

So we are loosing our best defender from 2019 who played every week and was basically the only defender who many would consider "quick" Bloody t to hope Lever & May can get on the park of Mahoney has really screwed the pooch (again!)

Does Gaff help us in the areas we need like run, carry & disposal

We just finished second bottom so adding any talent that can kick goals has got to be an upgrade surely!

It would be great if the Crows took Goodwin off our hands...would save us a fortune on the payout that we all know is coming in Round 10 2020

A good idea for a team with no pace (particulary around the footy and in the back half) is to not re-sign the quickest bloke in our back 6 Lets not get this wrong next years when May & Lever still can;t get on the park and we are seeing way to much Omac & Wag's getting constantly run away from lets remember we let him walk!

you justify the point by saying he picked apart our game and out coached Goodwin....we are no good so beating us isn't a good reference

If we have no alternative in and around the CBD i guess Bentleigh is a last resort as our facility but think we'd be more likely to sell it to a developer. In terms of club admin/fan engagement Bentleigh is a pain in the as* to get to unless you live in that local pocket of Melbourne, so plenty of players might not love travelling there! At least when the Hawks moved to Waverley its right on the freeway.

Welcome Alan Richardson as a mentor and assistant coaching...great to see we are bringing in the "best of the best" This guy has a coaching track record that's poor and was given every chance at the saints being at the helm for 6 years! Great stuff dee's!

Splitting the pick is only being considered for short terms results with Goodwin and Mahoney trying to save there jobs! We should be taking a top 3 pick and locking him away as we've traded for a few mature types in recent years with a less than stellar track record of actually getting it right!

We'll post a big loss after following the AFL's advice and selling the pokies venues! (Lets not forget the money the make of bookies etc but do as i say not as i do when it comes to AFL house!) Second we are pitching to keep pick 2 as the decade long results support us as the worst clubs in the AFL with last year the exception rather than the rule so hence don't push us further down the draft order.

Just because Goodwin did an apprenticeship under Roo's doesn't mean he actually learnt anything....he has moved further and further away from that game style and structure we used to play since he became the coach. More apprentices end up being nothing more than bum employees than success managers.

The players remain the same but have no confidence and the team structures haven't held up at all. We get scored on the same way every week, 666 has been a death knell to set up, teams getting over the back, lack of pressure and so on is clearly coaching! Skill execution is a player problem but in part come back to player development.

You can see in the Goodwin presser and the message to members he is devoid of ideas and at a loss to explain the performance as the "injuries" we are building a game style etc excuses and talking points don't wash any longer!
