A guy called Merv Hobbs took this mark… It ruined his career because he didn’t get it out of his system. He thought he could take another like it every time the ball came his way. Better if Kozzie just stops trying. Now.

And misses it completely. When the ball hits the ground, there’s not a Demon in sight.

I’d prefer him to stop trying for that and take the crumbs.

I’ll admit I’m not brilliant at separating players by one vote. But I thought our best were Melky, Lever, Rivers, Sparrow, Brayshaw and Viney. I’ll also admit I am surprised by the inclusion of JVR, Gawn, Petracca, Oliver and McVee in other people’s votes.

Maybe he’d have received 7 or 8 if that goal had been allowed. (I’m not sure when the past became the present, but there’s a recent trend on this forum to rewrite history through tense switching. And it’s driving me crazy.)

That’s incorrect. You can’t bump or block a player unless the ball is within 5 metres. Then it comes down to how you do it.

I definitely feel for Harry. I missed the Sydney Olympics 400m final with the same injury. True story. It’s still fresh in my memory. I had gone to the bathroom and was running back to the TV to watch the 400m final when I slipped on the marble floor and jammed my foot between the couch and floor, sustaining the dreaded lisfranc ligament injury. I was rolling around the floor in agony while the race was run.

Fair enough. And there is only one @binman so I’m fine with that.

Another first rate podcast, gentlemen. Thanks @binman @george_on_the_outer and @Demonland In my view, the phone-in callers add little to the podcast. If anything, they make it more difficult for you to keep to the structure. Would you like to consider dropping that facility and only handling the questions /comments presented on the Demonland forum? Then you could cluster similar questions and refer to them at the appropriate time. Just my thoughts. Cheers.
