  1. Sorry, my response was to Binman regarding monopoly.
  2. Is that true? Or has Champion Data bought a licence from the AFL? Or is it just that the barriers to entry are too high for competition? What is to stop me from counting kicks etc and publishing them?
  3. Um, I think Champion Data is a business. Why would they give away the information they generate?
  4. Did anyone notice when a free was paid to the Dogs and the ball went out of bounds? A Dogs player picked it up over the line and played on. The umpires let them take the advantage. What?!
  5. But there is in Weiderman.
  6. Probably going to be difficult now, but I get your point ?
  7. How about this oneโ€ฆ โ€œthey had more numbers at the ballโ€?
  8. Thatโ€™s the second time Iโ€™ve been censored. Both times for calling BT an idโ€ฆ.!
  9. How about the commentators suggesting each other for roles at the AFL or clubs? Who will replace Hocking at the AFLโ€ฆ You interested, Garry? They need a goal kicking coachโ€ฆ Browny? Rooey? Lordo? They need an [censored]โ€ฆ BT?
  10. The cliches, tautologies and superlatives do my head in. All of themโ€ฆ โ€œtook it at its highest pointโ€ (that must be at about 30 m high); โ€œlower the eyesโ€. Brayshawโ€ฆ โ€œheโ€™s done brilliantly wellโ€ Macguireโ€ฆ โ€œfantasticโ€, โ€œsuperbโ€, โ€œbrilliantโ€, โ€œsuperstarโ€. Plus his shoe-horning into the commentary of anything remotely related to Collingwood.
  11. 6. Petracca 5. Tommy Mac 4. May 3. Oliver 2. Salem 1. Petty
  12. The past is done and nothing changes what has gone before. Probability is about expected future results, so the future expected result is 50:50.
  13. Yes there is a law of large numbers but Iโ€™m not sure your interpretation is correct. Itโ€™s like saying that because heads won the last 5 coin tosses, the next is more likely to be tails. The next toss (next game) is independent of the previous tosses (games).
  14. I dont want to get into an argument with someone who is obviously so much smarter than me. But my simple view was that the saying is โ€œbull in a china shopโ€. If the original poster thought the saying was bull in a Chinese shop, then that was simply through a lack of knowledge. Hence my original question about whether the change was deliberate. But if it was purposely changed to Chinese shop, then that is unnecessarily bringing race into it. And then we saw comments about noodles and chop sticks. If you canโ€™t see how this works, then I am sorry. BTW, having a Chinese wife and speaking the language doesnโ€™t mean someone isnโ€™t racist.
  15. Who says Iโ€™m an other? Racism is racism. It isnโ€™t about whether I am Chinese, or any other race.
  16. Bull in a china shop has nothing to do with race or nationality. This version is bordering on racist and is such a cliche.
  17. Thatโ€™s a new take on an old saying. Deliberately?
  18. ANDโ€ฆ they brush their teeth with their right hand.
  19. The surnames are movie stars?
  20. You have no idea how happy I am that you didnโ€™t say he took it at its highest point. Thank you, LordTravis
  21. Ok, I admit that was a guess. But right, yes?
  22. A found a fewโ€ฆ They all have first names and surnames; They all brush their teeth with their right hand; They all kicked a goal after the siren to win a game in their backyards.
  23. Thanks Jaded. Where did you find that, please?
