  1. Sorry some of Mac’s best footy is right up there with Daicos already. He will have a huge impact on Suns results in the future. Yes it’s a travesty about the rules and we have been royally shafted in the Academy game the AFL presided over. We have to move on and best utilise Kalani etc. and our father sons who are available and ours,
  2. Congrats WW I don’t believe Perty should be hung out to dry defending our club. Yes it was a bit exaggerated as best culture in 40 years but we had been attacked from all angles. Kate tried to defend the Club similarly but really did not have the facts for a 20 minute defence almost out of the blue. She realises now that her role of President has been tarnished and by falling virtually on her own sword has smartly turned to the succession plan of a great Demon in Stephen Dmith. Perhaps she should consider ( if SS can align earlier ) to leave more promptly in 2025 to let the Club slightly reset and breathe into a new era, I am not sure about Whether Perty will be damaged enough to remain and most importantly if we can’t raise our game plan to be more exciting and up to 2025 speed then our once Champion team will flounder mid or bottom of the ladder. Too much ability to ruin this last chance of resetting with the younger boys who have come on board. Some creative recruiting and trading is needed also. Goody will be also fighting for his last chance. Once Kate goes he will have lost his main supporter. Lets hope this all can be uplifting and we can all get back to a united front similar to 2021 because there is still 16 players from thst glorious 13 th Flag. However Clubs like Geelongdid in 2011 are bigger than individuals and like them who lost Gary Ablett Jnr we must be realistic that Trac may still look to move on in 2025 as well. Our future is in our own hands with possibly new caretakers who we must embrace for our next successful era. As fans we must get behind our boys and give them their best chance of success. Snd “for Trac’s sake “ let’s all get there in numbers and be a part of our 14th Flag this decade. Go you mighty Dees!!
  3. It’s about time we stopped going for the same style of player we have. It’s obvious we need more skilful finishers and not bulls to round off our forward and mid field. Thst why we can’t get over the line I. Close games and our footy is too chaotic and not skilled enough.
  4. Your overlying statement is that MFC do not care for their members. I resent that and if our crowds fall or membership lessens then they will have to be creative and caring to maintain this pert of the club. There will always be a small number of instances where some decisions don’t favour some members. But that doesn’t mean MFC don’t care. Also ring or write to the Club about it.
  5. That's not true
  6. Disagree they do care !
  7. Little bit of ego’s perhaps
  8. If this don’t happen perhaps you could try your house snd see how that goes!!
  9. Disagree te Clarry and Trac. Sorry
  10. Why worry now? It’s irrelevant move on and look positively for 2025. Nothing post !!
  11. What a horrible post. I don’t think either Christian and Bella or the Club are totally to blame. Both are equally as guilty of the situation being lack of communication as usual which creates an impasse. You also need to take some angry pills and forgive both. We have survived and it needs all the Club to move on with some lessons and improvement now and in 2025. You seem incensed and unforgiving. It’s a mistake by both parties we make them learn then move on. We have all our players other than ANB and plenty of opportunity to recruit and trade for new ones. What we can hope for is Trac and Clarry back in form leading us back and winning games of footy.
  12. What are they going to call you about? Seriously it’s not an aged care provider. Sorry you feel this way but maybe they should ring and ask why you are not attending? I am disappointed with our style of footy that we have slipped back playing ( totally blame Goody and the coaches for that). But it’s still the Club I love and have supported for 66 years. We have still some generational players and Club Champs and I don’t think our window is closed providing some good recruitment and game style is planned this off season plus no real stars getting injured again then we can still challenge with some of our younger players developing also. Nothoughts of altering my winter plans and will be as invested as usual for the trade AFLW and preseason action. Tickets as normal and bring it on!!
  13. You are wrong about the Anzac Eve game. It’s Melb turn to be host. Most of your other contrived tips are way offline, some are a joke only.
  14. You are entitled to your opinion G not so great but you are wrong. Nibbla has requested this prior to other matters. and if you read his request it is perfectly clear that he is taking his family back to SA after a wonderful decade of Club loyalty and service. Thank you Nibbla you have been a great Demon and still are. All the best yo you and your family.
  15. What a hotchpotch of amazing events you have cobbled together accusing the Club of not having multiple PlanB’s for all these instances. Yes Brody wasn’t our finest selection, but your replacement answer for Angus is breathtaking. Angus had not had a concussion since 2017 when he was crudely and once in a life time happening cruelly perpetrated by a thug. Sorry we don’t have Bont or Cripps running around at Casey waiting for the same time injury or fitness halts both our champs. Riv has proved a good substitute andbperhsps Kossie could be given more time on the ball. Our senior Coaches are selected before the Casey job and that mix is normal for an AFL club. You are completely misguided about Perty and Kate. Both jobs are vastly different and. CRO is the most vital administrator of all. The president to my knowledge is an honourable position and not paid. Trac has already indicated that Simon is not an issue and your 6 yo comment about changing Clubs if we lose Trac is a kindergarten or primary school approach, Grow up and support the Club after 5/6 years of success.
  16. Gets the ball and disposes generally neatly. Yes a fighter and gains meterage. It’s a YES from me. .
  17. Unfortunately there won’t be any fans watching if we play the same bland defensive and slow game plan. 8 goals doesn’t win any ( many) games of footy in 2025. We need a positive leader and offensive attitude to attract fans who will get excited by the date and speed of our footy. If we don’t change Coaches and attitudes the Clib will go backwards.
  18. About as poor form as your reason for not attending the Pies game last Friday night. Blaming Nibbler for putting his family ahead of his career is wrong also. Then for you to conjure up it as a reason for you to not go is even worse. Pathetic in fact. 10 years of loyal service a premiership hero not sure we need fans with this memory or sort of appreciation.
  19. No the worst mistake was not using Schacky from about 5 mins. Before 3/4 time instead of Tmac. The use of the Sub rule even in the GF in 2021 was sad ( like Heppell’s goodbyes at Marvel) and Simon has not improved in 3 years further. In fact it needs a Royal Commission!!!
  20. Here here KDF.
  21. You are making a comparison with a pert developed AFL player of ONE season. Caddy is physically more ready but still needs another pre season and will reap the rewards in 2025 and onwards. Despite his Junior record Jeffo is at least another season needing physical growth and probably a great start in the VFL next season. He may come back ready for AFL but his pre season is crucial and his different style of play he will be known for. He has come ahead this season more than most anticipated and could still be cherry ripe for a debut in early 2025 depending upon our forward setup and his performances in practice and pre season games. He has got a forwards skill in him and like Fritta feel he will at some stage make his mark in the AFL. Hopefully 2025 may be the year.

Really we had 7 bad games. Lions, Pies twice, Dogs, and Freo twice plus WCoast. Swans ok and 4 losses under a goal and 11 wins. Better Team Management you mean Coaching which should include our Forward and Mids inc. ruck plus of course our Sub ( no 23) management.
  23. You judged my post right WCW. All losses provide info or reactions but like the Club need to be assessed and plans formed to solve problems etc. Until it’s mathematically possible I generally don’t write off season or a game during quarter as it’s always possible like Round 23 vs Cats in 2021. In for the long haul !
  24. Ten years of everything you could ask a player to do. Alex has been a wonderful Clubman even above his playing role which has shown genuine improvement virtually every year. And it is after ten years. A wonderful contribution all ways round. Alex and his family deserve our best wishes at the same time negotiate strongly to replace him.
  25. The fact remains is that all that was offered was far too soon for Gus. Perhaps it should have concluded at the time with the. Moment let us know if you are ready or change your mind. No hurry or pressure. And that’s not bring critical to any one as we all know and handle grief completely differently. That’s why an open answer covered all bases. Be interesting to see if Gus accepts the AFL invite to the motorcade of retirees at the Finals?
