Too many what if’s Macca thinking if the worst, courage and free thinking are needed to win. What ifs and afraid of losing are symptomatic with lack of success. We have a choice and give me the first any day of the week.

We always had 23 players and never had any less than 21 for any of the last 40 mins of the game if a risk was made which could have been a game changer.

Whatever happens from then is the unknown but a positive move to get some forward scores and give Gawny a rest is made. Or Max rests in the Forward pocket and Schache rucksxand changes forward also. Whoever runs and whoever located the Demon Shop where it is have no idea of business principles. they should have negotiated and got a demountable ( one exists near Gate 3) Surely they could have one located near the MCC members. Rubbish Should have played from halfway through 3rd quarter instead of Tmac. Agree that injuries also contributed to our loss in both 2023 finals with forwards missing. In 2022 it was our fitness and many players unable to play a full game out due to their poor fitness and carrying injuries. Roost it Far is too harsh. The major reasons are our fitness in 2022 and injuries and poor forward work plus Sub not used in Semi in 2023.

ANB should be in the pocket and Kolt on the bench. If McAdam is fit he replaces Spargo and Trac replaces any of the mids/smalls as necessary.

Seriously OD is one of the most negative posters of all D/Lers. Posts that he believes Clarry is not going to be if any or much help as he won’t be fit and we will get b all out of him in 2024. Never a thought to welcome him back and let him know especially we( Ie OD himself) are behind him and wish him all the best. I can’t recall him re the flag in 2021. When did he make the call ( When Fritta kicked his 6 th goal). Sorry but I am bullish and if you like to go through my 2021 posts I was bullish and predicting a good season from pre season on not once but a dozen times in differing p osts. This year yes injury to our forwards is our biggest worry but even then we could develop our game plan and connectivity to win and kick straight. So good times ahead still I believe . I reckon they will need to leave at least 5,000 seats available from the big spending Vics fans at this Stadium which should be no less than 30,000 capacity. That will give the local existing “AFL” fans of the visiting teams plus about 2/3,000 visitors of the interstate teams scheduled there. It will be like the GC and GWS all teams will play there not as selected by the Cats to their own dung hill. ( I think they have done well to get the ground as good as it is now. They must be asked to reserve say 4,000 seats for the opposition and have any sales after say Thursday open to the Gen Public.

All the Simon moves you are quoting are pre planned during off seasons. planned and trained for months Yes but the moves I are quoting are DURING THE GAME where it’s well noted industry wise he is not really flexible. Ie Not a great Match Day Coach. Two different qualities altogether. Sheedy for example had both qualities covered, You can only comment on some moves after a game all you “in hindsight” experts that are discounting these options. When are you able during a game? I don’t text publicly during a game except a text to family or a Melb mate. But a Coach’s job is to be vigilant and flexible.
