CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Yes let's hope he can put his name up for consideration whatever our season holds. BTW have been really pleased with Hibbo after such a tough year. He has lost weight is faster and disposal back to 3017/18 level.

No Kev Locky did not play vs North and was rested ( managed) so 10 day break! Both Trac and Spargo (esp) deserved their spots again. Hannan Tommo and Harmes really should go also Melky not doing enough really. IN Gawn Viney Lockhart OUT Hannan Tommo and ( Harmes OR Melky Managed)

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Respect your opinion RN and Marty has some skills of an intercept defender IMO, marking and intercepting snd reasonable disposal. My issue is who does he play best on tall or small. Neither he is not fast enough for mids and smalls and not heavy enough for 2nd or 1st forwards. More Our best replacement for Jake Lever really without all of Jakes skills. Rivers is about 3/4/5 years younger and IMO well rounded on all the skills for a half back. Good mark to compete with talls fast enough for smalls great judgement and ball handling plus takes game on with a bounce or two that suits our style of breaking lines. Great kick also disposal wise and length. At this stage can't play on KPF but in a year or two with pre seasons and natural body building be able to relieve KP backs. At this stage of our development games into Trent are of double benefit just like Kossie and Jacko. With Lockhart starting to develop our defence is becoming a more stable and dependable aggressive unit. Rivers looks To me as the long range player (200 games) and Marty as a depth 7th or 8th defender when needed. Petty may be a forward or back but when fit again I also think he will be a swing player in the key positions.

We do go OTT sometimes and drop bundles very quickly. Think our list is taking shape nicely and still a work in progress as the recruits and top up goon more confidence as a team. JT has not been a failure in fact has some very good selections and many in this team from Beating North. (Look at their stock and compare) Prob a KPF is needed and def another outside runner. If recruiting ready made was easy I would like Tom Papley or Todd Marshall snd say Dane Rampe yo add fir 2021. Petty May be our ace if he can regain fitness in 2021 fir forward (or back) key position but a runner (even Zac Jones ok) is still needed I feel. And an emphasis on kicking and disposal skills is imperative.

Dees on Brink of Another Trade Disaster
The players were named as a list not as a generation each !! All were in their respective careers a generational player but in footy context their times overlapped. A generational player is an adjective only and describes their quality and fame and uniqueness in our game !

Powell Sorry but an asterisk fir a different time per quarter of the game?? Did the 1896 season have 20 mins plus tome on? Whst about the 1948 Grand Final replay we won fir instance.20 mins quarters?? You under your system could have as many asterisks as their Are time zones in USA or Europe!! Perhaps when we finally move to a night GF we should have a MOON style emoji to accompany the result in all record books. Please KISS principle is best for AFL they complicate things far too much as it is. Rules of game etc. especially and that's not even anything to do with The Covid-19 amendments which were NECESSARY. Hopefully Dees win a flag in my lifetime and I won't care about the time of quarters I will be celebrating far too hard to worry!!- POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne
One vital attribute Charlie has is a VERY GOOD FOOTBALL BRAIN and therefore he is a good link up player in a role not necessarily taking the centre stage like Kossie. Credit to him looked stronger and most positive since the Hawks Semi Final Win in which he was a good contributor. Msy we'll play under the radar in Kossies shadow now if he strings together some valuable games. IE will get No 2 small forward defender now also!!.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KYSAIAH KROPINYERI PICKETT
No E Kossie was and IS the right selection for MFC We needed a small classy forward to crumb the ball and we have now got a Farmer/ Betts/Cyril/DAvey clone who is only a boy really. Harder to recruit Kossies than Georgiadis and get it right. We have a very special talent anX factor and highly skilled player fir hopefully a decade to contribute ultimate success for our Club. Snd Kossie creates excitement for us and fear for the opposition! BTW I actually rate Gorgiadis but have no doubt that Kossie is the right No 10 we picked. Thank you Jason Taylor.- Jason Taylor
Wrong about Fritsch LG was still good learning his back line craft maybe his delivery and decision making a little dodgy. Now still averages betw 1.5 and 2 goals per game when played forward. Needs to work on his accuracy both in set shots and snaps plus his marking when gage hets hands on ball he sometimes doesn't hold the mark. If he die this over the this season snd 2021 we will be looking at Gawny prediction of 40 plus and maybe a Coleman medal contender. Really all ways you look at Bayley he is a wonderful young player and team And person to boot and we are very lucky to have him. Definitely on the Do NOT TRADE list !!- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM WEIDEMAN
Only a kid but Imliked his man on man tricks yesterday That will give him more confidence as well as contested marks which he clunked a couple Kicking due to deliver a bag any time soon.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - SAM WEIDEMAN
Definitely reminds me of the Tom Hawkins rate And style of development. If we can get a similar career out of Sam we will be with Jackson etc a hard side to nest fir a while with our midfield getting stronger by the match. Lockhart Rivers Jacko Kossie Sparrow Charlie Spargo (back on track ) Fritsch and Jordan Petty and Bedford are 10 very promising players to germ the nucleus to back up our A and B graders A already performing well. Need to have a better game plan and more mental and physical toughness but that should come over this year and 2021. Key forward and another outside runner would help sort of complete a very good list.- Gabba seating
Reason is the seat allocations in pairs because of the Covid-19. It is in the form of a Triangular patten to distance people in pairs. was same for Lions on Sat night even in the Gabba Trust section. I have QQ seats for Sat night hope it's all Melb there and not mixed with Pies fans !!- POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs North Melbourne

- Nibbler Suspended for 4 Weeks
Spot on we are the guinea pigs again Appeal Dees Nibbler hung out to dry Could be the end of his career even.- TEAMS: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
What about the first goal Dont tell me Oscar was not on Georgeadis then. FWIW Imlike Oscar in and its thevpressure downfield first to forwards and mids lack there of that makes it harder fir our defenders.- Gawn In Doubt for Crows?
Jack Watts also contributed in the period especially in the forward line ruck throw ins or ball ups. Remember him ? Goody He had finishing skills conversion skills!!! You find want them in players really!!- THE TEAM STRUCTURE
Complete overreaction Same as your disrespect for Garry Lyon.- Go Get Garry
Yes Binman by a long shot Listen to his comments on Fox during the game and on On the Couch Well ahead of most by far in those forums and should be hired for Game day and pre game tactics and selections To assist the Selection and Match Cttees. Our match day moves are non existent and a disgrace to a Senior Coaching group.- CHANGES: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide
Thanks Wdee But we are not obliged to try every 42 fit players in 2020 and after 5 years Josh despite his absolute determination and commitment is just not the answer. Lever May and The others won't make any decisions for Josh and improve him like Oscar does especially with Lever. Agree Nev a rest and Smithy should be moved to the forward line as an Xfactor who could cause quite a deal of damage with his height aerial ability and pace. Rivers completes our new look defence which has passed its test all season. We are playing for an 8 spot on Thursday and our best team is necessary vs Port. Lets hoe we salute with a win as honourable losses don't quite cut the mustard in this very close and competitive season.- CHANGES: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide
Werridee interesting but don't think 4 changes will take place although some case for about 3 or 4 for relegation and/or managing are credible. One clear "error" each week in your team is May at full backClearly Oscar takes this role as our goalkeeper and May is now mostly at CHB. I would also argue that Lever is at HB. Sometimes it depends upon match ups I admit and the kicking back into play is mostly done by May and Salem. I also think Oscar could do this and May offer an alternative to Gawny to kick out to. Our kick outs are a little underwhelming IMO as not many players make space and then opt to play on rather go back and delay moving the ball, with some aggression.- CHANGES: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide
CHF Why Wagner ? Didn't even play in scratch I don't think! Clearly he is not up to AFL as proven over 5 years at Club. Rivers deserves a spot and Jordan consideration as well along with Tom Mac and Sparrow. - Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
