  1. Yes very far down the track !! Maybe in his final season in 2030 Macca !! What a waste and I appreciate a creative HB like the next fan but don't waste a player at least put him up forward fir a 40 plus goal season !!!!
  2. Spot on we are the guinea pigs again Appeal Dees Nibbler hung out to dry Could be the end of his career even.
  3. What about the first goal Dont tell me Oscar was not on Georgeadis then. FWIW Imlike Oscar in and its thevpressure downfield first to forwards and mids lack there of that makes it harder fir our defenders.
  4. Jack Watts also contributed in the period especially in the forward line ruck throw ins or ball ups. Remember him ? Goody He had finishing skills conversion skills!!! You find want them in players really!!
  5. Complete overreaction Same as your disrespect for Garry Lyon.
  6. Yes Binman by a long shot Listen to his comments on Fox during the game and on On the Couch Well ahead of most by far in those forums and should be hired for Game day and pre game tactics and selections To assist the Selection and Match Cttees. Our match day moves are non existent and a disgrace to a Senior Coaching group.
  7. Thanks Wdee But we are not obliged to try every 42 fit players in 2020 and after 5 years Josh despite his absolute determination and commitment is just not the answer. Lever May and The others won't make any decisions for Josh and improve him like Oscar does especially with Lever. Agree Nev a rest and Smithy should be moved to the forward line as an Xfactor who could cause quite a deal of damage with his height aerial ability and pace. Rivers completes our new look defence which has passed its test all season. We are playing for an 8 spot on Thursday and our best team is necessary vs Port. Lets hoe we salute with a win as honourable losses don't quite cut the mustard in this very close and competitive season.
  8. Werridee interesting but don't think 4 changes will take place although some case for about 3 or 4 for relegation and/or managing are credible. One clear "error" each week in your team is May at full backClearly Oscar takes this role as our goalkeeper and May is now mostly at CHB. I would also argue that Lever is at HB. Sometimes it depends upon match ups I admit and the kicking back into play is mostly done by May and Salem. I also think Oscar could do this and May offer an alternative to Gawny to kick out to. Our kick outs are a little underwhelming IMO as not many players make space and then opt to play on rather go back and delay moving the ball, with some aggression.
  9. CHF Why Wagner ? Didn't even play in scratch I don't think! Clearly he is not up to AFL as proven over 5 years at Club. Rivers deserves a spot and Jordan consideration as well along with Tom Mac and Sparrow.
  10. Lockhart Baker Jordan Sparrow and Chandler plus Bedford may solve those issues you feel need solving Between Rivers and Lockhart I am certain Jets and Hibbo are covered nearly at present. The others are unknown with no 2020 form so a work in progress here. Trade time will be vital and Petty still carries a big white KFP or KDP in the future but Sam and Oscar are taking strong steps to make their careers long and successful. Time is if the essence day 12 mths and let's see where we are but have eyes open from that trade gem from another Club!
  11. Who says ? Too many are putting limitations on Jacko. Let him get experience and he will develop before our eyes and do those X factor things as others do normal footy practices He will be a 15/20 possession player in the ruck around the ground and up forward with skills to burn and the 2nd and 3rd follow ups that others don't do so our team will benefit greatly in general play and finishing. In other words a David McKay Nic Nat with mids ability to win the ball and the game at the same time. He is smooth and has another sense in traffic already that others don't. Skys the limit for Jacko.
  12. Really Dr G On that basis we couldn't go after any players because of our delivery!! Cameron can mark on the lead or contested So just get him if you can pay fior him!! Alas we need a KFP not a half back flanker! Lockhart is going fine Rivers is a 200 gamer and some others can surely earn a place in the team in that position. Ie Jordan or Sparrow that's if we don't have spots elsewhere. We have already spent a mozza on Jake and May and now need to settle the defence fir a tilt at Finsls consistently without Hibbo and Jets in the near future. At 28 Rivers is a steal!!
  13. The only members forwarded info on the game are Qld based members as other states can't visit at moment due to lockdown etc. Did you ask the Mship Dept if it was only Qld members Rodney? Wed is the day gen public can get tickets through Ticketek. I got a complementary one ( as I am a 2020 member ) and got 2 other tickets for friends to sit with me on Monday at $30 each Good luck and go Dees
  14. In all of this most people querying Jacko are vastly under estimating his ability to be a utility. That is a mobile ruck, utility, handy versatile, forward or around the ground plus a fantastic X factor. Indeed Jacko has the potential to be a once in a generation player viz Barassi or Jesaulenko or Matthews or Buddy or Brereton or Hudson or any major player of the AFL/VFL in the last 56 years of our history. Also examine the record of teams With above 80/120 goals or Coleman Medallist's and very few have saluted in GRand Final day. 3 or 4 years out of Stephen May could be enough to win a flag ( or two) with say Petty his successor. Look at GWS today and they are struggling at present and we could join them on 3 wins by tomorrow night and who would say our list is the potential of their AFL gifted amalgamation if talent! Please keep some faith and sensibility about trading and its irregularities. PS Seem to recall a guy called Lockett and he hasn't ever hung an AFL medal around his neck. Also another quirk is that Brian Lake win a "Normie" who would have thought that plus Chip Frawley kept Josh Kennedy to a handful of kicks in 2015. One trade decision does not prevent a premiership !!
  15. Don't worry Satan with such a half glass empty attitude we don't have to look fir any "minuses" in the fixture when you are in the job! You have obviously forgotten the AFL mantra of being agile and flexible! FFS just accept the scheduling etc. as it is about the only way we will finish the season before November or the virus completely knocks footy out of The equation. Just remember whoever wins will have competed in the hardest and possibly most confronting Season ever and it will be judged as CB one of the greatest flags ever!!!
  16. Contact Lions possible ballot For gen admission tickets ?
  17. The fact is that Trac is now an impact footballer Get it in his hands and we benefit big time ie goals assists and team play with class (Don't know why he had a 40% efficiency in kicking as he did not seem to be under any more pressure ) Our big task ( or Goody's more to the point )is to get Clarry JackV Gus and Harmsey Up to speed say 75/80 % lime Trac is and to do what Jack and Clarry did compose themselves and make use of the ball. No doubt if This problem Can be solved or improved we will be a 20% better team and our forwards will benefit no end. Oh and Gawny must practice that quick handball and short kick to open up the play instead of his high looping kicks down the line. And actually all players need to get composure and skill in disposal like Harley. Loved the value of Mitch Hannan who had a very good team role and result orientated game As per a good half forwards. Kiddie is generally a good 10/14 disposal team player and will hit the scoreboard regularly very soon no doubt. So many potential positives out of Sat night but many a work in progress. How far we develop those Disposal skills and team play will determine a near finals berth or anywhere between say 8th and 4th!!!

    Joel Smith

Sorry DRev Oscar is at Full Back and agree re Letting Jake Find form. No forward line just fine let him start in the scratch matches up forward and he will earn a spot at some time Don't think he is bad kick or nothing he can't improve on. Could be great X factor move.
  19. No it's not interesting BW511 To insinuate Jonesy has been gifted games while at Melb over his career Is cruel, Unforgiving and downright insulting. Since 2006 until now when has he played poorly enough that he would have been dropped for players such as Bartram Mat Jones Kennedy and James Magner. Did Nate keep out Bartram Kennedy Mat Jones or James Magner for instance to get to this total. NO so your idea has no Sense or merit and quite frankly will make most Demons fans feel sick at your Suggestion. Sometimes better not to say ( or write ) something if it' s not nice at all.
  20. Careful what you wish for OD You would not be able to contribute your meaningless negative based comments each week No doubt giving you great satisfaction To your miserable life. Please go and barrack first the .....???? And not waste our time. Also as an older person it's typical just "Yhe world isn't the same any more type comment ". Let is barrack without such false opinions as yours in peace PLEASE.
  21. We are wasting prob about $3/500,000 y Th his year with Richo Whose Saints game plan was hopeless also.
  22. Yes but it would appear that he fought fir change and not surprisingly had been given his match in orders IOW Goody dies not want alternatives to his plans!!! That appears to be the trouble as there is no one else near him when the TV goes on him! Yes phones but no Macca down at ground level either !!
