What is he playing up forward now ? Thought he was recruited by Cats for his run and penetration from the wing to kick to the forwards !! Thats what We were after when we were after him I am certain. I think you are vastly overplaying his role and he is already injured. While Rosman was ordinary last Friday I have faith he is the right recruit fir this time as we will get a decade of excellence from him on the MCG wing and occasionally cameoing up forward. I look forward to him being There as one of our best when we get that 13 th flag. There is no guarantee Smith would have been.

One would have to establish it being the best of the 6 flags In the glory years then compare with the single ones in 1900 1926 and 1948 and also the three peat in 1939,40 and 41. There wasn't much difference in the1955 56 57 59 and 60 teams and 64 was an end of successful era one that is a bonus for us. If a reunion was not achieved last year of the 1960 flag then I would encourage it to be held during this season.

How have Carlton gone past us on the field Rufus. Last time I looked we finished 9 th and they were 11 th and we won 2 more games and beat them in2020. Anyong that says we didn't look aggressive and determined on Friday hasn't played sport at any level!!! Let alone top level. Saints are ahead as last year made finals and got a Win! Thanks IHW But my opinion is that there are a lot of positive changes with recruiting development andCoaching positions. There is no doubt that Goody will not survive with all this happening if we only end up 8-10th. Also Bartlett has him in his sights with the 4 year plan. Not to make the Finals this year with the improvements I have outlined will lead to Ooze replacing him. I am wondering even now how he is tracking or is he just wAiting for selection and game day for nothing to change except our game plan which isn't a bad start really. Yes Kossie needs a finishing course and that's Choco's job. Don't really see ANB as a mid he has ordinary skills hand and foot is not super strong and finishes his goal snap shots poorer Than all of our players. Hunt I jus think is jack of all trades and master of none so we keep him for depth and may be run off the backline today but goal sneaking at HF tomorrow !!

Fair enough Bing forgot about Aarts Yes he played well but Riv just seemed out of sorts most unlike him. I like him and reckon he will come back vs Doggies on Monday. I also reckon that that's why we should have a small back pocket style player to go with smaller faster opponents. I have been championing Locky but now have a feeling Bowey is the one after Friday's B game. Players like Daniels Tippy etc cause us trouble because of our bad match ups. Jets is no longer fast enough fir these pact players I really don't know heather Riv is fast enough and agile for them either. Wrong DD give Kossie a fair go He is a kid since when do you expect exact performances from Ist Rounders that always match their draft no? Some are slower than others mids are quick to perform KP players slower ( SamW) rucks even slower ( Gawny) and a comparison with many other small forwards is relevant. if you want to be fairer you could be super critical on the same Scale with ANB or Hunty.!!! Kossie is only 19 and has elite talent and once he gets back into the swing will gain confidence with our Coaches assisting all along the way. He has a great base to build from and will pay us off many times over as Stretch says. Your one goal a game is not a given but as long as he plays his role and creates pressure and chaos with the defenders we will prosper. A goal a game will be achieved and more if there is no pressure on him playing his role in due course.

Essendon should have thought more when they championed their Marvel ( or whatever it was named in 2001 or thereabouts) Stadium as their base home venue. If every game is altered because it may sell out and some people miss out then games will be on a merry go round fir these reasons as well as the potential of Covid to upset the Fixture. FWIW the AFL have said they want the first 6 rounds Of the fixture to remain unchanged ( Of course they say and do what they want When they want ) but I have a feeling this will create a rod for their own back if they compound for this reason alone. He didn't play a horrible game or make multiple errors and I don't think his opponent was BOG but just didn't seem to get involved. He may be one of those players that lifts for the real thing to and gets absolutely motivated. Reckon he will lift for a much more Public game and show his class as usual. Maybe give him Wallis to mind as he almost beat us Solo in the forward line in 2020.
