Didn't you notice his game last Friday. For his first with Ooze in the midfield our mids were Good almost slick with Clarry having a large impact. No hot potato handballs either. That's the Clarry we want now fir another 100/200 games.

Totally agree Max Bob we need to transition to youth NOW from Round1. Those stats Of our list age are totally misrepresentative of the team which if we say made the GF this year. We would only have IMO Gawn May Possibly Hibbo of the 30 yo brigade. About 13/14 might be of the 23 - 27 Category ( considered in their prime ) and the excitement from my point of view would come FROM Players in their first 3 years viz Sparrow Jordon Lockhart Jacko Kossie Riv Laurie Bowey Rosman and say possibly Bradtke. Grest blend of experience and youth. Many will say why not so and so but trust me most are past their best snd It has not been good enough and they have run out of opportunities unless that are in absolutely stellar form. 2021 could be our breakout year if we get on the front foot and give our youth a go from the start. That can learn on the job not try and turn the clock back Like some of our noble warriors of the past.

Any group of players that win 6 flags in 11 years and make the 4 all 11 times in a row play in 7 successive grand finals and 8 out of 11 seasons In the GF has players Who are deserved of being called champions In the true sense of the word. Also the team was an outstanding group of players and indeed probably the best Team to have success over a long period. Greatest Team in other words. Wouldn't it be great If we could start a dynasty of al least 2 or 3 flags which to be fair are Far harder to win these days. I wouldn't be gifting games as that's why we are inconsistent and soft as a result. Its a different matter if players are playing well but they are not even fit enough or in form. One hard bump vs a skill is covered by the whole team being more aggressive and physical in its approach.

DrD I actually are reading form from our match vs Tigers. There was a distinct difference in our game plan and aggression as I indicated above. And Gale and Balme astute observers noticed also our much quicker and slick movement of the ball. That was of OUR doing nothing to do with how the Tigers played. Regarding players to return Jetta won't make it as he is too slow Melky is only a 50/50 chance of that for Round1 ( I wouldnt entertain him On form let alone fitness after 2 underwhelming years). Both Viney snd Brayshaw are When playing well fast enough with our game plan and BBB is a fast on a lead. Whst about Hibbo is he too slow ? What strikes me now is that we are getting closer to building a very solid and across each line number of footballers who are all in their own way hit many talents and attributes. Now it's up to the Coaches to develop and unite this talent into a TEAM that can start imposing and impacting its considerable will on opponents. Dont know how long it might take but I firmly believe there are a lot of the jigsaw puzzles in the box. As I say don't know how long the journey will be but I am sure hitchin'along for the ride. Jske is as integral player in this team.

Sorry DRD but you notice a friend losing weight if you only see them every 3 months but not so much if you do every week. Clearly in pace and ball movement our effort last Friday vs Tiges was a level above that effort on our last MCG clash just before the Hub commencement. 2018 not 2028!!

No but I have clearly stated my view on the "heroes of 2018" including Jets Vanders Melky ANB and am of the opinion because of their age and Real lack of form and genuine contribution since are facing uphill battles To be included in our team going forwarded. Even you would have to admit that none of those four players have improved and indeed through form and injury Have along with some other players not developing are responsible fir our disastrous campaign in 2019 And inconsistent 2020 season. For us to Move forward and improve I Firmly believe our development is clearly in the hands of the 2019 and 2020 draftees and trade acquisitions and 23-26 year olds improvement like Trac last season. Any opportunities for the "30 Yo brigade" I see as depth mainly unless a dramatic change in form and confidence appears In their football. This is a great position if it returns as a fall back situation. There is so much potential in our youth that I am expecting a spike in form and confidence which could push us into Finals and who knows what might evolve. We can only dream of 2028 and an even happier result!

Don't mind Hibbo also in mix after a good year in 2020.

We need 2 smalls in the team especially if Melky and Vanders are not fit or in firm.

Vanders is so far off fitness and form he could not on any basis be selected.
