What's the 61 you quote Werridee? yes May be a couple but I would keep young types likeBaker Bedford and Dunkley in lieu of Hannan and ANB who ate really not going to inprove much. Lockhart has had a good developmental season and should be playing these last games. his style is what we need run and chase and break lines (like Rivers) . Our developmental coaching is very poor even if Covid training restrictions are factored in. Trac and Locky plus May and Lever ( who have plenty of ability anyway ) are improvements. Jacko and Kossuexwill be good and Rivers Langdon and Maybe Tommo Are stars for the long haul. Dont trade Angus get new coaches. RossLyon eg. And assistants. Be more creative eg Smith forward etc.

Don't agree Both will be better next year agsin its not our defence it's been tight and Petty or another third tall ( not Hore) would be good so Petty can go forward.

Seriously if Petty and Lockhart are not in the best 22 there is very little hope of a better season AND Jordan, Bedford or Baker would be better Options surely than AVB who sadly is only a shadow of his best. At least a couple of strategic trades Viz Zac Williams and say Narkle or similar would benefit the team. Very little culling of the list also looking at Reserves. Smith KK Jets (retire) ANB Hannan have proved this season that They are not up to it. Abd the one big addition that would solve many problems is a new Coach IMO the best available by far is Ross Lyon And he can bring his assistants!! All of them. Then maybe 2021 could be the season we all crave for.

Febes the season is 17 rounds not just 1-4 and as you know teams have good and bad results at different stages of the season. No real excuses but season is nit over fully yet.

Wayne That's where figures lie! AVB brave and all is only getting single digit possessions turning them oveR and with his Misapplied aggression is not really in the positive Figures. Look at Clarry and Trac and Their efforts and possessions and as they are in the play all day virtually it's ok as their figures are a plus by a mile. Sorry 56 Hire is a one trick pony and only a Jake Lever replacement. Whoever compared him with our CHB of the Century Gary Hardeman has got to be Completely out of touch and no knowledge of the game! BTW Gary played about a third of games at CHF with aplomb and was as successful as Tommy Mac in 2018 over about 3 seasons. Could Hore do this NO unfortunately he is on the delist category with I fear Hannan Omac Chandler Nitschke and the wagners plus retirees Jets and Jonesy. AVB is contracted so may survive And Brown also is only contracted for 2020. Tommy Mac Melksham need to lift so Harmesy and Angus be more consistent. plenty of spots to trade and draft thank goodness fir Langers Kossie Jacko Riv and Tommo who will all be a revelation next year ( as Langers has been this year). My gut says we should get Ross Lyon on a 3 year deal and negotiate out Goody's contract and get a whole new team of assistant coaches and FD Manager.

That in itself is part of our problem Consistent effort. Admittedly we won 4 games in a row vs top opposition viz Eagles away Giants home Cats elimination home Hawks Semi home but our last few games from Saints loss was an inexcusable fade out to Cats st KP by 3 points AND another embarrassing loss to Swans as our "system" fails to shine vs this Club ( as it had for 15 years! About 2005 we were equal to bout 90 wins each and the last 25 meetings has netted about 3/4 wins mostly because the Swans play a Systematic and honest brand of footy. We vary and get tied up on their terms and have no Plan B to counteract. Itd hurting us like we couldn't play Hawks for a long time. We need to have a An AAnd a variation to play against some teams to give us an equal chance of victory.
