  1. Id like a trip to Tasmania, purely for an away trip. I would also not like to play a SA team in Gather Round
  2. I assume that's why he's staying silent, some plausible deniability?
  3. Some more updates from Sam Edmund Dan Houston (Port Adelaide) “He was strongly linked to Melbourne for a time and that did appear the most likely outcome before things further unraveled at the Demons,” Edmund said. “There’s the possibility that he remains at Port, but with the Melbourne door closing they’ve been looking at other avenues. “One of those avenues is absolutely St Kilda. There has been conversations between club and player here. My understanding is Houston has a level of interest in getting to Moorabbin. “As things stand, he is one to watch when it comes to St Kilda’s trade period.” Tim Membrey (St Kilda) “He’s an unrestricted free agent, so that appeals to clubs. He’s only 30 and he’s unsure where he sits at St Kilda at the moment. He’s half expecting to be permitted to seek a trade elsewhere.” “There have been preliminary conversations with North Melbourne and I think a few other clubs, but nothing has progressed too far given he’s yet to learn what it looks like at Moorabbin.” Leek Aleer (GWS) “He’s a very bright young talent and in and out of a strong Giants backline.” “The phone has rung hot for him all year. He’s contracted until 2025 at the Giants. I’ve been told he’s determined to see out at least next year. “But 2025 is a big year for Aleer to make a decision and he’s no certainly no guarantee to stay on.” Matt Owies (Carlton) “I still think the more likely outcome is that he stays.” John Noble (Collingwood) “They only had a rough inkling of (his desire to get to the Gold Coast), Collingwood.” “There was an element of surprise internally at the Pies.”
  4. Anyone got links to the Grievance Tribunal - Want to get in before CP5
  5. 2021 - Give ‘em Hell 2024 - Season from Hell
  6. Yeh was a bad start for him, but need to back him in to lift in 2025. He's got some of the right tools, hopefully fit and firing at pre-season. That being said a little ominous with 10 AFL games over 2 years though.
  7. You never know with the AFL. I assume the AFL will be keeping an eye on it as I imagine theyd prefer the grievance tribunal remains unused so precedents are not set etc. Would be typical AFL to look after the big boy clubs though.
  8. I wasnt against him sticking around another year as depth but happy he can get a contract and a starting gig at another club. Been unlucky here at times, all the best fella
  9. we are paying him a lot of money but imagine if he was focused on growing his brand he may consider a lesser contract at another suitor if he believed in the long-run the move would pay dividends.
  10. That's the confusing thing for me, if you want to go somewhere, surely you don't kick the hornets nest if it's not seemingly possible unless you want to be stung.
  11. The grass isn't always greener
  12. He may have some grievances it may be brand related but the timing is not in his favour regardless which one it is. This time next year probably opens more doors for him. When the news first came out I thought 2025 he’d be a Demon but after that it may be a different story with the future trading etc, Gives us a year to try fix any issues or alternatively make some enquires for other players etc.
  13. Just had a look at the facebook event page, seems a nice way to waste $49 lol In the highly unlikely event THE FOOTY FEAST PANEL SHOW is to be moved to a different date due to circumstances outside of our control, no refund requests will be accepted. However, if the date is to be changed your ticket will be valid for the new date or we may offer you the chance to transfer your ticket to another one of our shows. This is at the discretion of our show manager who will cater for individual circumstances.
  14. worst part is there is no footy this weekend so its just going to be non-stop trac
  15. MELBOURNE has made two changes to its AFL list, informing Josh Schache and Kyah Farris-White they will not receive a contract for the 2025 season. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1640448/melbourne-farewell-duo-of-talls/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR1gixR6P2Msis3OINh5HXOdV7bLfCR3ZeYlbH3mRPizY52z6Hzz6RfJgbI_aem_wYhaS_lz5igwdrLqXWZN1g
  16. Wonder how many trac fridge magnets would be thrown out.
  17. Just some Collingwood fan on Twitter/X , the proposed trades being suggested by opposition fans online is the only part of this situation I can laugh about.
  18. Doubt think Petracca would let anyone over-cook, as he's worried the correlation will impact his cooking brand/insta
  19. Another proposed trade - Petracca to Pies - Pies Future 2nd and Reef McInnes to Dees. CP is a seriously injured 29 y.o. with $6,000,000 left on his current deal. A huge risk.
  20. Can imagine the next Damian Barrett piece already IF... The Melbourne players were annoyed at Petracca before THEN... They'd be furious now.
  21. some of the hypothetical trades I've seen floated on X are sensational though. Think one had North's 2nd and future 2nd getting it done based off his age and injury.
  22. When David Beckham left United they replaced him with Cristiano Ronaldo, alls well that ends well. when Cristiano Ronaldo left United they replaced him with an old and injury prone Michael Owen, a serviceable Antonio Valencia and an untried Gabriel Obertan - that did not end well.
  23. Imagine a world where he’s at another club and boo’d on his return to, should be going down in folklore now this. Dear me, quite tragic
  24. It’s been a wild journey the last few weeks. We’re all searching for clarity and the media has gotten us in a panic. I am straight up not having a good time in this thread aha
