Do find it a little funny that 3 rucks are in the Squad and they've all played for Melbourne recently.

He also had some clangers leading to goals. I dont imagine he'd be on a lot of coin in 2026, nor would we get much for a trade. I am on the fence about this one.

It gets worse though, they then traded their first round pick in 2026 for pick 27 in 2025 draft. so in a roundabout way (and with hindsight) basically traded pick 2 for him.

Its more than 3 words, But only 4 Players have averaged 20+ disposals and 2 goals a game this century Brad Johnson (2002 - Games 22) Nathan Brown (2005) - Games 10) Stevie Johnson (2008 - Games 25) Stevie Johnson (2025 - Games 17) Kozzie finished just short of this with an average of 19.6 Disposals and 2 goals a game from 19 games.

Gives me a little hope for a bounce back in 2026 though. From 15th to Minor Premiership, what an odd league we are at times. Understand there is a bit of inequality, but that's a little mad.

Society changes generationally and is constantly evolving. I'm no saint here, i used to say this word back in the day, I no longer do. As you said it was commonplace - music and and movies (eg that scene from The Hangover (2009)). You can't really look back at the 90s and 00s with today's eyes. In the early to mid-2010s, there was a shift. Some dismiss it as ‘PC police’ or ‘wokeness,’ but in reality it really is just society growing and being more aware/understanding

Re; Tholstrop, We took him at #13 but not many have really kicked on yet in this #13-#45 bracket. Darcy Wilson went at #19 and he's in and out. Stand outs probably Logan Morris at #31 and then Shaun Mannagh at #37. Seemingly lots of TBC in that draft.

Didn't know how to 'react' as not trying to besmirch him or his retirement, shame it didnt work out this time with cursed run of injuries. Great bloke though by all accounts, lived his dream.

It's still 4-5 games though, the penalties have been consistent here, don't think it should be reduced because its at the pointy end of the season. The slurs are abhorrent but also think first time suspensions for this should be a less games, but it's too late for that now.

But he also has more career behinds than goals.
