  1. he was at a game i played in once watching some of my now famous teammates, so he's definitely seen at least one bad player :'(
  2. cama is a mate of my brothers, started the year about 188cm and has just blasted up, kicked 9 and 6 in seperate school games this year and i guess is just sort of coming to grips with what to do with his newfound size, definition of a project player but has the skills around the ground from his midfield days so would be a good prospect
  3. i think they need to get in on amiss before the tigers as young talls are surely high or their needs list whereas the tigers are likely to have a slightly different order of priorities in the smaller player market so if amiss is off the board at freos first pick erasmus is more likely to get through to their second pick rather than if they take erasmus first amiss is the obvious tall to take next up for richmond
  4. butt isn't too painful
  5. you don't take project players at pick 9...
  6. see this annoys me and this is what the afl needs to wipe out, carlton delists cottrell & o'brien promising to re-rookie them and then upgrades kennedy (1yr as a rookie) and honey (3yrs/4possible) get promoted to the senior list... why can't they just leave as is? the same 60k still gets paid outside the salary cap regardless of who the player is thats down there? is the only reason to shove a rocket up two players clackers by delisting and relisting so they realise how close to the edge they are? pleased for hughes and Willkie who earnt their go as rookies and toiled away for 3 years to make it to the senior list and jordon for working back to his spot. also for reeves and Frederick who are proper rookies who've earnt their digs as proper traditional rookies in the sense that they're a cross code beanpole ruckman convert and a cat b multicultural prospect respectively
  7. gawn petracca oliver may lever brown fritsch salem jackson viney
  8. doubt it pf, we woulda just recontracted him and upgraded him if the case
  9. hopefully being only 21yo he's still young enough to forge a career back in the nbl where he was a massive prodigy before chasing a career with the sherrin. i always thought we'd give him another 2 years to develop his size properly but the writing was on the wall when he was being thrown all around the park at vfl level except in the ruck almost like the coaches were trying to hide him, still worth the punt and as i said hopefully if he's still keen he can slide back into the basketball setup
  10. it helps that they've just found another 700k a year to spend over the next 5 years
  11. my favourite player as a boy and the reason i myself wear 12 whenever i can, never too far from my thoughts, RIP col <3
  12. i believe there's another list deadline which is for rookie only nominations? what the crows did last year with luke edwards before the eagles stepped in
  13. don't think he's really changed at all, north just find him irrelevent due to drafting and list strategy and are stuck with his 5yr deal
  14. and could he take a few mates with him please
  15. its two way nominations have to be mutual
  16. assume its players he likes for our selections around those marks
  17. freeman is a good footballer showed so at the pies, and when given a second chance by the saints and then at vfl level this year, what was SONS supposed to predict his hammies wouldn't hold? expect you wanted him also to get on the blower to freo and remind them morabito at pick 4 was a no go coz he would do 4 acl's in the next 5 years too? why are we all sh1tt1ng on each other for having opinions? not like a top 10 draft has ever, literally ever still been the top 10 after 3 years let alone by the end of their careers
  18. tbf got the lachie mcneil call bang on so credit there
  19. honestly if i was to pick two clubs it'd be the tiges and dockers, the giants have 3 rucks in flynn, preuss and briggs they have hogan, himmelberg and riccardi + lobb is every chance to request a trade back next year too, doesn't really do much in the needs category for them LT or ST, the tigers on the other hand have a 33yo JR8 and Lynch and then a massive gap before Samson and Colina with only soldo backing up nank
  20. https://afl.draftcentral.com.au/player/andy-moniz-wakefield/ a bit more information on the kid, if we can get him as a cat B i think it'd be a good get given chandler/bedford are yet to really stamp themselves as afl grade small forwards and laurie more of an up the ground type AMW i think would be more of a deeper player hopefully loves the tackle once he bulks up
  21. clubs i'd have in the "in need of a developing ruck" conversation would be Adelaide, Carlton, Gold Coast, Melbourne, StKilda, WB
  22. you've also got OUT -senior twice and no OUT -rookie
  23. i understand it for the time being with covid budget cuts and players being owed money and clubs having to juggle it around but i completely agree that from 2023 onwards it should be set to either remotely for u21s OR only for first time afl players ie no age limit but they have to be recruited form outside the afl and after three years maximum as it is its up or out
