On the risible assumption that champion data is an accurate assessment of football talent lets us examine the following ancient conundrum. Which is more important : The talent of your top 6 players (elite skill) vs the talent of your bottom 6 players (depth). If one examines the MFC vs Bulldogs it is clearly depth. Note : the analysis may be skewed by the Bulldogs having a surfeit of baileys.

+1 Wiz. 'The caravan has moved on but the dog is still barking'. TBH his back story was so over whelming the club was happy to see him go. (Would love to see him have a good year though).

I believe not but if we need a covid top up player handy to have.... -
My WEG poster was a disappointment. Paper wafer thin, colours terrible red is brown and the blue is black. In general i am very happy with my purchases. I like items of a practical nature and went to buy some more but they are all sold out.

OrdiNeroli Speaking with Michael Hibberd
Fritta and Turner replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Interestingly MH said to the effect 'Best decision I ever made in my life was going to the MFC' (against the advice of family, friends and team mates). Now could I say for nearly all of my adult life I have believed the exact opposite. The MFC offered a safe haven. -

Did you go to Roos first AGM? He said like 'At the Swans 5 people would turn up and I would say if anyone has any questions ask me at the bar over a beer'. (Meeting closed). -

Game plans, tactics and all that jazz
Fritta and Turner replied to binman's topic in Melbourne Demons
Leaving Sparrow twice, once for the Sparrow goal and the other for Sparrow to kick to BBB in the last. When to attack the ball carrier and when to stick to the receiver is an art, at which Daniel failed miserably. -

More 300+ game players for the Demons?
Fritta and Turner replied to Supreme_Demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
The reason why so few 300 gamers is that we were unsuccessful and rarely played in the finals. A sustained period of success can add up to 30 games to a career. Clayton Oliver.- 27 replies
