  1. My phone hasnt rung....
  2. Yes. My comments were only in the context of TAF which is Caulfield.
  3. According to the MFC Financial Statements the club currently has $9.6 mill in financial assets allocated to the Training and Admin Facility (TAF). The club is confident that this can be raised to $15 mill. The capital in the Future Fund will not be used for this purpose but some of the income generated by the FF maybe, until the $15 mill target is reached. The cost of the feasibility study of $300,000 was totally funded by the state government.
  4. The cat sat on my head at 3.00am so to get back to sleep I read the mfc financial report. I think somewhere in there is a note that stated that the full Brayshaw payment was included in this statement as per Australian Accounting Standards. (sounds a tad Monty Python).
  5. as in (francis) Xavier Lindsay? Is that a nick name?
  6. More likely I got the day wrong - Monday... Put it down to post draft hysteria
  7. Was running the boundary on Wednesday
  8. So thats why I thought Petty was everywhere
  9. Sure trains like he has got it.
  10. A pleasant day at training, for me that is, not the players who were working hard and with some aggro i might add. Some of the tackles lasted somewhat long. Viney first out having shots on goal. I reckon heaven for Viney would be footy all year round. Campbell has his team strip and was running the boundary. Also did that strengthening exercise where the trainers lies on top of you and you have to get up. Then they swap over. Looks happy to be here and has the look of someone who wouldnt be out of place in Game of Thrones wielding an axe. Lever doing that weird stretching exercise again. The last time I tried anything like that I was actually tripping over. Spent most of his time running. Howes and Sestan, who both had niggles last time, moved freely running the boundary. TMc was in the drills and running very well for November, with some pace. Turner looking really strong in the contest. Spargo still doing rehab. Loved AMW in the contest. Petty and Hore very good at reading the flight of the ball. Marty always looks taller than I expect. Clarrie moving very well and no sign of a sore hand. Breaks the tackles with those magnicient hips. Roo doesnt like to get beaten. Ghost Writer in excellent form.
  11. I got an email last night saying my membership pack is on its way. It arrived last Monday. 🙂
  12. Jonesy certainly brings some fun to training. Usually smiling and quick with a light hearted comment or two.
  13. Just got my scarf and stickers too
  14. Last time I sought the shade but this time the sun, and now a fickle wind. It is fly season in melboure but luckily one of the other track watchers shared the repellent. Thankyou. Only about 20 or so players running around. Windsor did most of the drills but pulled out to do some work on the boundary a couple of times, then back into it. Howes and Sestan had some hamstring? awareness so did some stretching and running on the boundary. Lever was there doing some weirdo stretching exercises then running the boundary to build up fitness. Spargo was also doing similar, but still running in straight lines. Told to concentrate on rhythm and mechanics rather than speed. Hopes to be back in full training after Xmas. Tom Campbell running laps to build fitness. Still hasnt got his proper kit yet, and when you look at the size of him I dont think there will be any spares lying around. Viney leading from the front and addressed the players at one of the breaks. Sparrow and the Roo look like they enjoy training. There was much run and carry through the center and Boweys delivery stood out. TMc in civvies watching on.
  15. Demonland pretty much has got it all covered but... Arrived at 9.45 and cones and coaching staff were in position, awaiting the players. Big news obviously was Clarry in attendance; he was greeted enthusiastically by Goody. I thought one of the players might have been Sharpie, but the Ghost Writer sorted that out for me. It was Tom Couch who has taken up a conditioning coaching role. The boys looked very sharp, carrying the ball through the center for a long kick to JVR, Jeffo for a goal. Some of the boys have that AFL walk, or strut, that appears as arrogance but more likely simply ther affect of all that lower body conditioning. Sprinting back to the boundary line after a drill was noticeable. Choco was in strong and demanding voice. One of the coaches light heartedly called out 'F... Cheat' during one of the competitive drills. Viney was the most senior player training.
  16. I reckon Collingwood should go with a giant C.
  17. fwiw I spoke to one of the candidates for the Glen Eira council, who expressed support for the MFC facilities. They got elected.
  18. Salvador? Cat B rookie or nga prospect
  19. Never has been quite right since he injured his foot. Hoping for a bigger 2025. My highlight was the bump on Sciliy; sat him on his backside....
