Training Ground?
South Side - closer to my place. Probably an easier build North Side - better commercially as it is visible from Caulfield Station. Also there are existing tunnels

Training Ground?
I thought the MRC didnt want us on the North side as they want to move the GlassHouse pokies venue there.?

Training Ground?
Glad that you asked. I get the impression that the government would like everyone to be supportive when an announcement is made, and one of them isnt at the moment. I believe that is the MRC. More talks were scheduled for later this week, so it is still in progress.

Really Bomberblitz? That we no longer have P&O onboard I think says the opposite.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 21st January 2026
Berry first out on the park followed by the Coach with some unknown, which turned out to be his son, Oscar. Participated in many of the drills, including kick to kick with dad. All present except for Rivers and Petty. Bowey arrived late and was watching on. Obviously has a sore foot. TC in a serious neck brace and walked the boundary at a gentle pace. Viney headed back to the sheds after an hour, pursued by autograph hunters. Laurie had the no contact hat on but did not seem to be troubled by his hand. Max also with the finger guard has become adept at marking one handed. Sharpie running like a gazelle. So much for a hammy. Maysie running laps, moving better than previous weeks, building condition. Mihocek looks ready to go to me. Salo did not have that 'groin niggle' from last Wednesday. I liked the defenders drill, two on one where you block an opponent so that a team mate can get a clear run. 200+ spectators in attendance.

Jason Taylor’s contract
He has to retire at some stage. BTW Pipefitter, I think you look very smart in that hat.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 14th January 2026
btw XLs nickname, X, is pronounced eck. and I reckon that Sharpie can run quicker with a hammy than I have ever run.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 14th January 2026
Went early as I had to leave early. When I arrived at 9:10 players were already out, some doing a beep test. Berry struggling. 3 players I didnt see - Bowey, Laurie and Campbell - though Campbell turned up late. And so did Ghosty for that matter. Miohcek has had a hair cut. McAdam and Henderson on the bikes and in rehab kit. Everyone else in full training kit. Rehab, and by this I mean they occassionally dropped out to do specialist drills - Miohcek, Viney, Gawn (finger) Sharpie (hammy) Onleys nickname is Ron Chin and Rick in good voice. Tom Mathews still looks small. Kossi and Salo had a good stretch with the trainer before starting. AJ had some magic ointment on the back. I dont think anyone would be surprised that we are practising fast, continuous, ball movement. Left early.

Training Ground?
Puts a completely different perspective on tunneling. Still a free kick to the MRC?
-
Training Ground?
Well if the track has to be dug up to build a tunnel then the MRC may have something to say about that.

Training Ground?
Like who? apart from Brad Green who has been there since 2020 I would say the average tennure of the current board is about 2 years

Training Ground?
We are not tied to the Mt Scopus development but there would be a stronger case for developing community sporting facilites in the centre of the course if the school goes ahead.

Training Ground?
As we want to build on crown land there is no point in antagonising the government.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
To comply with Aus Accounting Standards all payments were recorded as being paid in our last financial year (although the payments are going to happen in the future.) I think we should have a liability some where in our books for the outstanding amounts, I think.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
I think the club made the right decision and I wish him all the best. Perhaps his greatest supporter was Goody and with him going the writing was on the wall. Clarrie still has lots of mates amongst the players but the playing group is happy he has gone to another club.
