I want Melbourne to lose. I know on the day I will want a win but my overall mid set is loose loose loose. I will def be there. No matter what. I wont be seeing the Dees play for months, wanna breathe it all in. Try and get me to last the off-season. But losing would be amazing for the club. Imagine if Richmond wins???? We get Matthew Kruezer. Number 1 pick, the shame of wooden spoon will pass. Melbourne have never had the player everyone knows, everyone talks about. Never had our Riewoldt, Brown, Fevola, Hird, Franklin, Cooney. I want a young superstar in the making. Not only to play well but to boost the profile of our club. Losing has SERIOUS benifits. Play every kid possible, play Neville and Garland. Get them out there.

Tigers win, Saints loose, Blues win, Demons loose. The shame of a wooden spoon, Matthew Kruezer. I'll take Kruezer.

Nasher I was just making the point that Rhino doesn't know what everyone is thinking. Either do I, or you. Never said they drove the trade table. When I hear other supporters say that, I am using that as an example of other supporters think it, why wouldn't some higher ups of other teams.
-
This is what im trying to say. Whitnall is a good option for the Melbourne footy club. Jamar and possibly a late round draft pick. Free Rivers up. Would be a good decision.
-
And Sheedy could do that.
-
Yes me, you and most of Australia watch the game. Thats how we discuss, thats how we know what supporters of other teams think. And how you get an opinion on if other teams and supporters are interested in Brad Miller.
-
By listening to other supporters and Melbourne fans opinions you form your own. Taking in what is being said, what facts there are of other teams lists. Not just cause you don't like someone, but because you have listened to what people have to say. And learnt something.
-
God you weird me out Rhino.... How do you know any better than everyone else if Miller has value. How do you know opposition fans and teams don't rate him? I here all the time from people at work, why aren't you guys play Miller? Family members who go for other teams say you need Miller in that side. When I explain he hasn't been playing very well they say yeah cause he doesn't get a go, you can't come into a team one week and your confidence is there, give him a couple and he will be alright. If you don't want him, we'll take him. I hope we get him somehow over the off-season, would really help. I hear all this from supporters of other teams. The Dogs could use him to bolster their small Forward line. Brisbane could use him to compliment an ageing Daniel Bradshaw. I remember hearing Mark Williams of Port Adelaide say he rates him really high as one of the best leading forwards in the league. Port have a small, very young midfield. They could use him. Everyone on here may not know the exact truth but either do you, we don't over rate. We listen to other people opinions.

Miller is just down on confidence. If he goes to a new team there is a chance he will get up to the form we all saw a few years back. And even then our new coach may keep him with the same thought. Get his confidence up, he can get better. It is plainly obvious that he isn't not talented. Just lacks confidence in his ability after a few bad games which turned into alot of bad games. It happens to alot of players, but as soon as they get their confidence up they become quite good. The one trade I want...... or perhaps through pre-season draft. Why not try and get Whitnal for the same reason people would want Miller as mentioned above?

Awesome to see Buckley in. Im pumped as about CJ, never been a big fan but was playing AFL on Sony last night and he ripped it up for me all season off the bench. Strange way to start liking a player but get him in there!!!

Ben Johnson case to test the AFL's judicial system
Demons 32 replied to Rolling Stone's topic in Melbourne Demons
Saints are my most hated team (hate Gehrig, Riewoldt, dirty little Milne, diry little Montagna, Kozzy). Hate them even more because the misses goes for them and while I have got her coming to some Melbourne games she refuses to let go of the saints that plagued her childhood. Damn Saints. Give Baker another 7. -
Surely Jeff White would be better fit in a forward pocket. I don't think someone who has never had to chase would be suited for the backline.
-
Just what is it your trying to get by trading Green and Bruce?
-
He will be alright but I don't think he is in the best 22 next year either. With Rivers back he won't be needed as much. Rivers will take the league by storm again next year. And Frawley will continue to develop.

Key thing you have to remember is that he is a kid. I constantly call his big boot into the 50 the under 18's punt. He is a kid, and as mature as he is he will still have many qualities that he would have learnt in junior football and Under 18's football. Jones is a good strong player. And will continue to get better but for now let him mature without the added pressure of leadership or criticism.

Sheedy or Connolly will get, prob Sheedy. I want Hardwick. He is a tough premiership player. He has won premierships at multiple clubs and from what ive heard, gave an outstanding presentation and the Hawks really rate him. He is a tough man who wont hesitate to scream his head off at players who aren't giving it a go. I am happy with the process because it has obviously brought forward un-expected candidates such as Hardwick and Bailey. But im questioning how Connolly and Riley are still in there!! I get Riley.... we are being polite to him. I guess Connolly might have done well in interviews, but it's pretty obvious he is not a fan choice, and he whilst getting membership up, did struggle to make his players stand up. I dont want another coach who wants to be friends like Daniher. If it is Bailey, Hardwick or Sheedy. I'll be happy with the process. If it aint, I wont be, but I'll still be there every week.

It is impossible for the worst team in the league to get that low of a pick, 4 is as low as you can go, and that is with 12 lottery teams, this would consist of of 4-6. Therefore you would still end with a high top 3 pick regardless. You have the majority of the chance out of 1000 to get number 1. You will find in past NBA drafts the team with the most chances usually gets top 2. Except for this year which massively pushed the Boston Celtics to number 4.
-
I figure I started this so I better give my opinion. I think Connolly will get it (Sheedy a good chance) I want Bailey or Hardwick to get it though. Both seem to have glowing reviews and we could use two men known for being hard.
-
Because he has relished the role of coming off the bench in real life. He comes in and gives us a sudden hard edge with hard running. He has done that all year. As you said, plays well. Why change that plan? Wouldnt play him anywhere but on the ball. So I choose Johnstone, Mclean McDonald to be their first.

Hi guys, I know there is another thread based on which 2 coaches you can have. But im just wondering now that we have the 5 guaranteed below if people can answer my 2 questions. Who do you want to get the job? Who do you think will get the job? Mark Riley - Current caretaker. Kevin Sheedy - Former Bombers coach Dean Bailey - Port Adelaide assistant Damien Hardwick - Hawthorn assistant Chris Connolly - Former Freo coach Looking forward to other peoples thoughts. Thanks.

Who really is the favourite. I dont think anyone knows. Im hearing course favourites and Sheedy and Connolly. Also heard that Bailey and Hardwick had OUTSTANDING presentations. Riley must be on the outer.

Backs: Milburn, Scarlett, Harley Forwards: Robertson, Neitz, Yze. Bring in Yze to force the cats to either play a tall on a small or drag a tall. H/Backs: Enright, Eagan, Wojinski H/forwards: Pickett, Miller, Davey Pickett can make Enright be accountable because he can not allow him to get infront of goal, take Enright out of game. Miller to come in to lead hard up the ground, he can take Egan out of equastion quickly. Mids: Mackie, Bartell, Corey Mids: Green, Mclean, Bruce Use Green and Bruce to run in and be 5th and 6th midfielders, both have the ability to push forward and kick a goal while possibly avoiding a tagger on a wing. H/Fwds: S.Johnson, Mooney, Chapman H/Backs: Bell, Rivers, Whelan Bell and Whelan both with huge jobs, id be confident in those two players. Fwds: N.Ablett, Ottens, Stokes Backs: Carrol, Holland, Bartram Use Holland to take Ottens, he is a big man who can take a big man, faith in Holland should be rewarded. Rucks: King, Ling, G.Ablett Rucks: White, McDonald, T Johnstone Confidence in the teams ability to run with their midfield. Mcdonald can get in and under like Ling, Johno is classy like Ablett. And Mclean can towell Bartel up on a good day. Inter: Blake, Selwood, Kelly, Hunt Inter: Jamar, Jones, Wheatley, Bate Playing Jamar to deal with the trio of Blake, King and Ottens. Jones to come off the bench and play midfield most of day. Emg: Sylvia, Moloney, Dunn Quality midfielders to come in if needed. Key Match ups: Yze vs. Harley Rivers vs Mooney Bruce vs. Corey White/Jamar vs. King/Blake/Ottens Whelan vs. Chapman T Johnstone vs. G Ablett
