Oh Massively over rating Warnock. And hugely under rating the trade value of Johno and Bruce. We could get a top 15 pick for one of them. Easy. Jolly went for pick 14. You think teams wouldn't part company for one of Bruce or TJ.
-
I really like the idea of a Bruce or Travis and pick 21 For Brisbanes Pick 8 and Cameron Wood.
-
It's not the MAJOR disapointment!!!!! They were all hurt, they were all disapointing, he was not the one true MAJOR disapointment.
-
Don't like this trade, there back up ruckmans back up ruckman. Jerhico has barely managed games this year. We could get a ruckman who will be better than Maric in draft. And id prefer travo over Jerhico
-
Id say they would chase our 2nd round pick.
-
I don't know what should happen. A ruckman is needed. Whites body is deteriating and next year may be his last. Wood sounds great. And I would love a deal that got us him and pick 8 like suggested. But I am one of the people thinking Johnstone should be maybe the only untouchable for us. A 28 year old Bruce may be better to give than 26 year old Travis. I do like the idea of Meeson, I do believe he is gettable with pick 21. Im not a huge fan of Jolly due to his constant whinging about be number 1 ruckman and his asking price. But I wouldn't be upset if in someway he cam back. Drafting is always good but what if the player doesn't work out. Therefore I think, we should trade for a ruckman.

WERE UNFIT ALL THE BLOODY YEAR!!! Injury curtailed development for Frawley? Injury stuffed it for everyone, I really liked your 3 word player reviews. But what you have said about Bruce is sooo stupid, so other guys can get the injury line but he can't? If it isn't obvious he was playing hurt all year then get your eyes checked.
-
What you mean by that???
-
He is the big tall Forward in the draft, trying to say you dont want the best big key position player in the draft? Melbourne needs a big, pack marking, forward option. This is it.
-
I just want Henderson.
-
I don't agree, I wouldn't trade big for him as I don't think anyone would. But if he was available come pre-season draft time I would very much like to give him a go. Even if he has 2 good years and looses it, then so what, move him on. Those two years will be very good. He is a terrific player. I totally understand where you are coming from, but hey ive just got a soft spot for rejuvinating careers. Not everyone is crap when it comes to a second chance.

Trade anything to get another top 10 pick. Get Henderson with pick 4 then another speedy midfielder. This is the best option by far.
-
Haha you wont see the S word in a million years. Unless of course it's glitzed up and promotes ratings, and he gets some money for it from producers. Then he might say he was a bit silly. Oh did you mean sorry? from Carey? No Way!!! God Carey is wiked.
-
He did on Footy Classified the other night.
-
Do you, does Axis. It is pretty well documented Kruezer is going number 1. No team wants the embarresment Richmond has for passing on Buddy Franklin. It's easier to find a midfielder than a talented, athletic key position player.
-
Kruezer will go first

Good post. I think it's a two horse race, Port Adelaide or West Coast. I disagree that the Hawks will beat the Crows. they will play their guts out for Roo. Plus I am concerned as to if the Hawks kids can handle the pressure, and the poor form at the dome compared to the Croweaters. Geelong are always going to be very dangerous, but I see them struggling big time without Matthew Egan, he has dominated this year, really being under rated to how good Geelong are, even though the top 40 for All Australian. Sydney are always going to be an outside chance but I think might get pipped at the post by a team like Geelong, although their brand of footy has got September written all over it, no one plays that hard. I would love to see the Kangas make the Prelims but they won't make the granny in my opinion. Sadly. The pies wont make it far this year, but who knows, a big game from one of their star forwards (ie. Rocca, Didak or Davis) and they might be at least semi final bound. They also may be boosted by the possibillity of the last season for Bucks. The Qaulifying final between Port and West Coast seems to be the telling one. I truely belive, whoever wins that game and gets the prelim final at home, will win it all. Carn the Dees in 08.

Shame he doesn't get a mention. Even Gazza Lyon didn't vote him top 5 in the Hearld Sun today. But obviously others sports writers did cause was 3rd in their overall voting. Personally I rate Pendlebury above Selwood. Pendlebury went missing for a few weeks in there too. Jones is consistent every week. At least deserves a mention. Pendles the winner in my eyes.

Correct Balme at Geelong is a great example of what Connolly can do.
-
Key Position Player.
-
I really rate Henderson. He is a big KPP that we really need.
-
Sampi has come out since saying he lost his way and is now desperate to play AFL.
-
Really smart move by the club. With Connolly all the worries about the bald badgers promotion skills go out the door. Connolly can bring in memeberships, Bailey can coach us to a flag. CARN THE DEMONS!!!!

His marking is ok but when I say f/flank I see him as a running flanker. The sort of flanker who starts his game up on the wing at the bounce. Less leading for forward 50 marks and more running, causing havoc with his skill and kicking running goals. Sure he will have to mark sometimes but thats just how I see him, the marking will need some work but he will become more confident once he gets stronger muscle wise. That whole confidence thing is also what would make him be hesitant about man on man stuff. He is very young, he is very thin and knows he would get smashed. If he gets his muscle mass up and keeps the skill he will be a terrific player, not Cornes, but terrific. I agree very much that he has a very strong footy brain.
