Definately would want Lynch.... But who really knows? The Age thinks we will take Darling, sportsnewsfirst think Heppell will slide to us and the SUN thinks this. My preferences of the players ive heard mention would be Lynch, Darling, Heppell, Gorringe, Jacobs.

Why is everyone crying about it being American? Are you all really so Australian bias that you don't know of other sports in the world? Below are some AFL teams that have the same name as an American sports team. Eagles Lions Tigers Bears Suns Hawks Do we consider all these teams American copies? People think the Wolves would be better? It's still an American basketball teams nickname! How about the Blues? There would be multiple sports teams with that name. Lets just get over it like we got over Gold Coast and accept they are here. We all cried when Freo started, we all cried when Port started. Saying their uniforms were ugly and there songs were crap... But in the end does it really freaking matter? It's about the 22 guys who lace up every week, it's not about their moniker... And even if it was, they are not your club so what the hell gives you the right to have an opinion about it? You want an opinion, stop barracking for the Melbourne Demons and sign up with the GWS Giants.

Vote 1: Jack Darling

Pffft it's a bit of fun in the off season. If you don't care then don't tune in!

Club could simply just be worried that if Jamar goes down injured we are screwed....

Hale played 12 games this past season.... Which was his worst season so far..... He kicked 17 goals in those 12 games. So by my calculations he is a better player than PJ will ever be. He is a better option at this current moment than Spencer who may never make it, Gawn who is very young, very injured and very raw, Martin who won't make it and Fitzpatrick who was pick 50 and while developing has shown no sign that he will be even close to best 22 next year. David Hale would be a great option for us.
-
Did he qualify?
-
Heard some rumour about us being pretty keen on Hale today. GC is more likely to get him but who knows.... Wouldn't want to give up much.

All this proves is that stats don't mean anything.... Collingwood won games because of a team effort from multiple star/superstar players Carlton snuck into the finals because of 1 player, a superstar of the game In all honesty, Judd 100% deserves his brownlow like everyone always does, he carried a team on dodgey shoulders Just like Bartel deserved it even though he wasn't as flashy as Ablett Just as Cooney deserved it being the star of a top 4 team Just like Woewodin deserved it for being one of the reasons we were able to rech a grand final in 2000 Just like Goodes deserved it in a year they made the grand final Every year people will whinge and say so and so was better etc. End of the day in 30 years people won't be thinking about who 'should' have won. They will think about who actually won.
-
Despite all hate for Judd the fact is he is Carltons only good player. So whenever the Blues win he would vote, because the Blues suck... except for Judd. Swan, Ablett, Hayes all had tremendous years, but with Pendles, Didak, Bartel, Selwood, Goddard, Montanga all polling it is always going to be hard for them. Those guys have the fortune of being in great teams, instead of being the superstar of a bad team. Without Judd Carlton would win 50% less so he is a top 5 chance every year. I personally would rather a premiership and im sure Swan would to... Also, look on the bright side!! Did you see Eddie's face?? Now come on the Saints to give the double whammy to the Pies!!

We will never get J.White but in all honesty he is exactly what we need.... a big bodied athletic forward who works hard and can be a 2nd ruckman. Is the absolute ideal choice for our side..... but as I said, we would not be able to pry him away as he is their direct replacement when Bradshaw retires.
-
Not really.... there are idiots everywhere in this world. Doesn't make them bad people. Unfortunately for Fev he is an AFL star with a questionable past, therefore when he does something wrong he is perceived as being a monster, a cancer, a criminal! When in reality life he is just a dumb footballer who made it out of the local leagues.
-
Lets not forget that they also gave us Pick 14 (Grimes) for TJ They are the new FREO!!!
-
It's a shame that Fev has done this, because he will be torn to shreds and could be the end of a great player ([censored]... but still a freak) He isn't a bad person, he is just dumb.
-
"Might" is exactly the right term. He will not be the blues number 1 trading target. The big fish for them and the Hawks will be Tarrant, Both clubs will try to lure him back home. I would assume both clubs do have Warnock in the back of their minds as a possible back up plan if they cannot secure Taz. But in my opinion thats about all Warnock will be to those teams.... a back up plan.
-
Honestly if we could work out some sort of deal that nets us Hampson and Walker for Warnock and a pick? Id be really happy with that. Walker is not a spud, he is an incredible athlete, just had alot of unfortunate injuries.
-
I would be hoping we would accept one of their ruckman (Jacobs/Hampson). Hampson could be a straight swap but I would rather Jacobs.... Warnock for Jacobs plus swapping a few picks would be ok.
-
Chris Knights is good.... He can play forward or midfield, has kicked a bag before and loves to run, carry and bomb from outisde 50. He is actually very similar to Sylvia.
-
We are promoting a team that relies on serious amounts of confidence... It's a tough balance between confidence and "to much" confidence. Either way it's not Watts's fault, and it's not that the team doesn't trust him, it's just sometimes players are a bit selfish.... but it's ok because every great player must be a little bit selfish at times. When Frawley took that running shot from outside 50 when Watts was screaming in a better position it was selfish. When Dunn didn't even think about passing it to Watts it was selfish (he is lucky he kicked the goal or I would hope he would get dragged).
-
Im not saying we should take him, I just don't think it's right to simply gloss over a player that has proven to be almost AA worthy. If it's ok to take a 25 year old Joel Macdonald (who is a personal fav and has been great for the side), then why is it an immediate no to take a 27 year old Drummond (who is far superior in talent, he has one of the best kicks in the league). Considering how upset we all get when it comes to foot skills out of the back half. I would think that he would get slightly more consideration than "he is 27, to old".
-
When Melbourne fans turn their nose up at quality like Josh Drummond I am convinced we are getting ahead of ourselves.
-
Would love Djerkurra.... He looked very promising as a midfielder in the under 18's.
-
In all honesty he wouldn't be a bad depth player, a good leader and is one of the best stoppers going around. However I still don't really want him as I don't think we need him, but he should get a job somewhere else as true taggers are hard to come by.

Who will take the reins from Junior..?

Think you got confused RR. I was talking about Brad Green. As in, I think Moloney will be chosen but I want it to be Green and here is why.... -

I think Moloney will be chosen, but in my opinion it has to be Brad Green. 1. He is arguably our best player. 2. He has courage. 3. He kicks game winning captains goals. 4. He will have 200+ games of experience as a captain. 5. He already does alot with the media. 6. He is probably our most respected player in AFL circles. 7. When we were at our very worst, he was offered more money to go to other clubs with the chance of winning a premiership. Which in all honesty we all would have understood a 28 year old leaving the worst side in the comp for a top 4 team with more money and a chance to win a premiership. Yet he turned that down because he wanted to be a Demon for life. So my seventh reason is that he is loyal to the end. All of course is just my opinion.
