Time to start a rebuild?
I think if we had started the rebuild last year the club would have been destroyed by the chaos and mayhem surrounding it. The club this time around have no choice in the matter now. All avenues regarding trading to our club and out of our club must exist at the end of this season. But a new set of eyes (coach) must be cast on this list, Goody is too close with all the players now and what has transpired in the off-season with all this player empowerment sh yte must ceast to exist. Lamb, Richardson, Griffiths all assistants must all leave the building at seasons end.

Yes 💯 his injury prevention management of the players has been world class as for our overall fitness its been diabolical. From an endurance and speed standpoint we have been lacklustre and we either fade late or start games sluggishly. New Fitness boss extremely high on the list of changes for the club.

Time to go Goody?
We've got a new CEO and President that haven't even lobbed up to the job yet! How can you form a ticket?

POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Surely the club will know it's going to lose more money in memberships and sponsorships than the $1m that will be paid to Goody and roughly another $1m to assistants, Richo etc.

Where is Darren Shand in all of this???? What ever he did in the off season has been a complete Mind/skull 💀 f uk on the whole entire staff/playing group. The Melbourne Football Club, also known as the Demons, recently engaged former All Blacks manager, Darren Shand, to conduct a review of their football department. This review came in response to concerns about the club's culture and the performance of certain players like Christian Petracca, Clayton Oliver, and Joel Smith, as well as the departures of CEO Gary Pert and president Kate Roffey. Shand's perspective, formed after the review, suggests that the club's issues are not as dire as perceived by the outside world and are "very solvable". Here's a more detailed breakdown: The Review: The Melbourne Football Club sought an external review of their football department, aiming to address concerns about the club's culture and player performance. Darren Shand's Role: Shand, a former All Blacks manager, was brought in to conduct this review. His experience with building a strong culture within the New Zealand national rugby union team made him a suitable choice. Shand's Findings: Shand's assessment differed from the prevailing narrative, which painted a picture of a club on the verge of collapse. He found that while there were some issues, they were isolated and solvable. He emphasized the positive aspects of the club's culture and leadership under coach Simon Goodwin. Focus on Solvability: Shand highlighted the importance of addressing the specific issues rather than allowing them to be magnified by the outside perception. He stressed the collaborative effort between players, coaches, the CEO, and the board in tackling these challenges.

Did Simon do a press conference? What could you possibly say after that?

Said it for a while now he is an absolute fraudster! The last 2 years from an overall fitness point of view have been pathetic on his behalf.

I am taking my membership of auto renewal, I will then decide if the $600 donation to the club is worth it. I don’t see any games in Melbourne so I'm paying to prop this garbage up, until I see signs of change from the incoming leadership change i will be membership free.

Trade Targets
No one ever knows 100 percent @Demonstone but I hear things through a contact at New Balance who has decent intel and those names never came up.
-
Trade Targets
Understand your point @Demonstone, but the footy dept didn't exactly target hard for players with noted footy skills e.g M Kennedy, De Ambrosio, Amon, P. Voss etc. All these players from teams that weren't even considered by the our club which is alarming and left a huge gap in our playing stocks. The players you mentioned aren't noted for their foot skills or have a particular part of their game that is strong. This is even more prevelent and relevant in today's game to kick through defensive zones and create better field position. You can only develop and improve certain parts of a players game first and foremost. The players we have traded for from 22 to 24 have ended up being nothing more than stop gaps. This is where we are now from poor, lazy trading. 13th on the ladder.

Trade Targets
These are the sought of risks we need to take now and back our development in. Established name players just don't want to come to our club.

Time to start a rebuild?
That's why we are angry @Dr. Gonzo We traded like dog ch it after our flag triumph for the 22 season then followed it up in 23 and 24. We spoke to the wrong players during this period why not have a convo with some great players by foot, De Ambrosio, peatling, Amon etc. Its not all doom and gloom as we have some talented youngsters to work with, but some one has to unfortunately leave the building.

NON-MFC: Round 20
This isn't doing Goody any favours.

May to Tribunal
Reasonable players are players who sherk the contest. Bruise-free footballer is another name for a reasonable player. Whimps/reasonable players get out of the way of a contest and Steven May ain't no whimp! End of story! In the words of the great Neale Daniher "play on."
-
May to Tribunal
The club grew some balls TFFT. Probably to protect Steven May's legacy, because this is how he would be remembered if he got or gets 3 weeks for this incident.

Time to experiment
Do you mean Experiment sexually? 😂
-
May to Tribunal
I reckon that's me about done. In what world does this outcome happen if a Geelong, Collingwood or Carlton player had this done this to a MFC player? They have ch it all over our club again.
