Great, gutsy win but these fade outs are causing my blood pressure no favours. I would love to see us play 4 quarters of football without dropping off. We would be just about unbeatable. Weideman can go back to Casey. Laid a couple of good tackles but at other times looked slow. Petracca is brilliant but I just wonder if he needs to leave his ego at home and just play footy.

Let's be honest here. We are never going to be a legitimate contender with Harmes, JKH, ANB and Trengove in the side. We are 4 players - Nate, Bernie, Gus and Vanders - short of a very good team. Having said that, we have done very well given our injury list this year and as a supporter, I am happy that we have become competitive. I live in hope but it seems to me our young fellas are running out of legs. A few looked cooked yesterday. Maybe time to put the cue in the rack for 2017.

Watts may not get up in time. Then there are the niggles we don't know about. Plus, that was a damned tough game of football with only a 6 day turnaround ahead. Sydney look like getting McVeigh back so virtually full strength. Worst case scenario, Salem, Jeffy, Captain Jack all out. Watts, Hoges and Nate still injured. JKH and Kent would be my immediate choices with either BenKen or maybe Corey Maynard.
