  1. You can probably guarantee it! A fine at most I’d think (hope).
  2. I hope so. I put money on him at $17.00 in May.
  3. 6. Oliver 5. Gawn 4. Salem 3. Lever 2. Petracca 1. May
  4. Hey Picket! Maxy and Spargs say hi! Hahahahahaha!!!
  5. Sorry, you’re slurring your words. Can’t understand you.
  6. Give it a f****** rest FCS. Or leave the pizz alone.
  7. They’d better pull some cunning stunts then!
  8. Exposes the gulf between our bottom 6 and theirs in terms of skills. And they are missing Tuohy, Stewart and Higgins.
  9. I’d prefer Brisbane in Adelaide to simply eliminate any possible home ground/town advantage for Port regardless that we beat them over there. Finals are a different game and everything counts.
  10. I will travel to the grave site of my life long friend and MFC/MCC member for over 50 years, who passed away 2 years ago, and have a few crownies (his favourite) with him.
  11. 6. Gawn 5. Fritsch 4. Lever 3. Petracca 2. Jackson 1. Rivers
  12. “Let’s drop Fritsch” from the game day thread. NFI.
  13. Running at 3/4 pace today. Understandable given the past couple of weeks. Just do enough to win.
  14. I must be a terrible judge.I thought Tim Kelly was in the best 4 players on the ground.
  15. I’m with you re “the worst year of my life” J. Being unable to witness a Demons Premiership on top of 4 surgeries so far and a 5th around the corner! 😩
  16. It’s amazing how much better he looks when all the self applied tickets get washed off in the rain. As I’ve said before, if he takes the Dusty Martin posters off his bedroom wall and plays like James Harmes, he can be an asset. I suspect somebody has got into his ear and to his credit, he has listened.
  17. But he kicks straight with his left foot because he needs to concentrate a bit more. Simply replicate how he kicks with his left. But of course, that’s way too easy.
  18. Understood, no worries. I wasn’t meaning every week, just occasionally when required to display that he has that in him.
  19. As I said, "We were all just people getting on with our lives". "We" meaning black, brown, white, European or Asian. Colour or race wasn't an issue. We worked, lived played sport and socialised together in the community without any hint of racism. How did that happen? As I said, I am an older man. Maybe the respect and courtesy that my parents taught me as a child needs to be replicated by the parents and teachers of today? Parenting today lacks a lot of the necessary values and responsibilities to end prejudices and attitudes that sustain them. It won't "go down any easier" the next time I hear some media type banging on about racism. The wrong audience is being targeted. I know where I stand.
  20. Yep. Personally speaking (and I am an older man) I never, ever considered a persons colour, ethnicity or anything else. We were all just people getting on with our lives. Then those things were suddenly “issues” and those “issues” started to be rammed down my throat.
  21. Off topic but mentioned within the thread….. One of the things that will take Petracca’s game to the next level is a touch of mongrel. Not of course intentionally smacking someone but rather using his size to run in straight lines and take a few casualties, tackle super hard or angrily remonstrate if a team mate goes down unfairly. That earns onfield respect and makes opposition players a bit wary. I cringe when I see him all buddy buddy and smiling with oppo players during a match. Fire up son! Save the niceties for after the game.
  22. Bont clearly has won the Brownlow. Umpires fawn over the bloke. It’s sickening.
  23. At least the thread gave me a laugh. Somebody said James Harmes was intimidating! Hahahahaha! He is absolutely desperate for that to be true though.
  24. Putting his personal life aside, Majak’s physique alone suggests 200 games. The reality is he is a B grader who might be useful in a pinch. His highest season tally of games is 9 with a total of 54. I feel Daw lacks……..”intensity” is a good word. By all means give him another year as a support act but barring injuries to multiple players, he is never going to be a regular senior team member.
