  1. Harsh on Wagners.
  2. Canโ€™t please some of the fools,on here. Real bandwagoners.
  3. Weโ€™re effectively one man down with ANB out there.
  4. We are a worse team with him on the ground. Brings SFA.
  5. The boys would have been a good fit this year.....โ€Tragedy.............โ€
  6. Sadly, staying at any club โ€œforeverโ€ is dead. Money will generally be far too persuasive for young men to ignore. At the end of the day, itโ€™s a job. What young bloke from Victoria wouldnโ€™t take the chance to live and work on the Gold Coast for double their current pay?
  7. The effect is real. Half our bloody players go missinโ€™ every week!
  8. Read all of the comments. As a MFC supporter for 54 years, I cannot truly enjoy a win from a team who has had the most dramatic fall from grace that I have ever seen. I am angry and embarrassed that we are 16th on the ladder. I am sick of the OTT goal celebrations of the Petraccaโ€™s et al. FFS just go back to your position without all of the BS carry on and kick another goal. Itโ€™s your job. Just do it. I was lucky enough to know Alan Jeans quite well. He would have burst a blood vessel seeing the way some of these โ€œmodernโ€ footballers carry on. I can only imagine what the likes of RDB and Norm Smith would say to some of our current players on the back of last season.
  9. We got this. Dees by 10 goals.
  10. Iโ€™d be happy with half a mongrel.
  11. Yawn. Same [censored], different author. Surely we wrote this season off weeks ago. Any โ€œpassionโ€ died then. 2019, a true โ€œClaytonโ€™sโ€ season.
  12. Probably need to ask his wife that question.
  13. Iโ€™ll have a guess: 1. 4 AFL Premierships, AA selection, Hawks B & F, 40 VFL touches last week....... all as a midfielder 2. Our midfield got flogged last week. 3. Is a proven wet tracker.
  14. ANB and Petty get selected on the ground so guaranteed a game? WTFFFFFF! Young Baker must have run over Goodyโ€™s cat and it appears JKH then threw it on the BBQ!
  15. Jaryd Roughead forward coach? Lewis will stay on in a coaching role next season so we might be a chance to lure Roughie over. I like the idea of getting former players back. Yze and Green are my preferences. Brad Scott anyone?
  16. After the midfield debacle last Sunday, we have to give Lewis a run in the middle. He did win 4 premierships, a Hawks B & F and All Australian selection as a midfielder. He has good leadership skills and could provide some great feedback to our regular mids. It would also give one of the usual mids a chance to spend time down forward to bolster our skill set down there.
  17. No room for perhaps the best small defender in the comp? N. Jetta.
  18. Forced to choose........Harmes and Petracca. Gus and Salem have the edge in class.
  19. Nobody playing an outside mid role at all. Every one is a bull-at-a-gate hard ball seeker. Coach is to blame for that.
  20. I live 700 metres from the Gabba. Clear blue sky right now although we had a couple of heavy showers overnight. Have had some rain most days this week so the deck may be a little slippery. Predicting 25 degrees though and no doubt for you southerners up here for the game, it will be sunscreen, shorts and polo shirts! ? 14 degrees in Melbourne today....... Hope to catch up with a few of you either at the German Club pre match or the Pineapple post game.
  21. Rotate Lewis through the midfield giving others a chance to rest forward. 4 Premierships playing as a midfielder is the clue to where he plays best and evidenced by his performance at Casey last game. The track maybe a bit slow in Brisbane. It has been raining quite hard throughout the night and this morning with more predicted over the next few days. That should suit Lewis.
  22. Travis Johnstone.
  23. I prefer sniping, diving, posing squib.
  24. Mums called him for his bath now.
