  1. Beams gets 18 votes in the Brownlow this year, and potentially gets traded for pick 18. Neale gets 11 and Freo want 5. What am I missing here?
  2. Rance has always been suspect one on one. Even Mason Cox touched him up
  3. Which is exactly the reason the club is doing this. May in, Hogan out makes us a more likely premier, as it gives us strength in backline, added to an already top notch midfield, the best ruckman in the comp, and 2 big key forwards.
  4. For what we need right now to win a flag, yes he is
  5. Maybe he thinks he may not get a game at WC. Big fish in the small pond syndrome. Yep, feel free to snipe, but frankly i’m A bit over the bloke
  6. Wasn’t comparing the player, just the scenario. Running into the Dockers club rooms, away from the media, just reminded me of Scully at the airport. I find it amusing how these players try to play the straight bat when everyone knows the outcome. Just be honest for Christ’s sake
  7. Is it just me, or is there a bit of Tom Scully about this?
  8. As we are only going after May if Hogan leaves, that may well happen
  9. Gaff is a restricted free agent, meaning that if West Coast match the offer that North (or anyone else) are making, then they have to trade for him. His manager has stated that it is either WCE or North, so he will not be part of our plans anyway. If Gaff leaves on free agency, then WCE would get a compensation pick after their first rounder, which would be around 19-20. So it would be in their interest to go down the match offer path
  10. Would like to know what has changed his mind. Has recently said he was happy here, so something has changed. We know that Watts was moved on due to his attitude regarding rehab to injury. Not suggesting that this has been an issue with Hogan, but something has happened. I cannot believe the club would have instigated this.
  11. How can Cripps get 2 votes when his team lose by 104 points!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Already got the project giant - Bradtke
  13. A really tough call, but horses for courses. I am sure Bayley will play a blinder on Sunday, so the pressure will be on Smith, Hannah, Tyson and maybe a couple of others to produce on Saturday otherwise he may well take their spot in the GF. Really feel for the young man though
  14. Correct Jonesy. In 2016 the opposite happened, both Geelong and GWS who had the extra break, both lost prelims
  15. Rioli and Ryan average 11 possessions a game, less than 2 tackles and about a goal each. I think we have them covered. Would be more concerned with Kennedy and Darling, but that relies on the midfield battle
  16. Cover, Geelong supporter. And is as irrelevant as they are now.
  17. I won’t be in Perth on Saturday Bobby, but will be in spirit. Barrack hard for me.
  18. My highlight was the crowd. Years of beliitlement and pain all of a sudden now belief and pride.
  19. Wouldn’t mind betting that was Sicily, which would explain Tracc mocking him after the Melk goal
  20. Wow! Maybe he watched the game from the bar. Of course they had more marks, they were chipping it around that much. Hardly ever looked threatening going forward as other than Gunston they had no-one else to kick to! Jesus, if winning by 6 goals against a top 4 team, in a sudden death pressure final, is bad form, I'll take that every time. Kingy, take a look at the number of goal kickers each team had, there is your story there.
  21. He was clean and decisive, dont think he wasted a possession. Just knows where to be
  22. No passengers tonight, just 22 guys willing to put their heads and body on the line to win a contested ball. I have never in my 54 years supporting this club have seen and heard a Melbourne crowd like that.
  23. Kicked 1 goal this year, says it all
  24. Yes I did, Lucifer. I do not have any updated info but i would think Sam's thinking would have changed somewhat. As far as a Hogan trade goes, Freo may have 2 top ten picks this year, in what is widely regarded as a super draft. If Hogan was agreeable the club would be remiss to not consider this.
  25. No change required for this game. Hawthorn is averaging around 48 inside 50's over the paat 4 games. If we just concentrate on a little more composure inside 50, we win this game with a leg in the air
