  1. Too many passengers, other posters have named them. Worst half of football I can remember. Pathetic. Maybe we should consider moving our home games to the Adelaide Oval. This supposed home ground of ours holds absolutely no fear for anyone. Glad I got sick and couldnt go.
  2. Chol is a Mason Cox. Leads with the knee. About time he was called out for it.
  3. It’s about time the AFL made a statement here, if they are serious about banning head high hits. FFS, it has already ended the career of Gus in the most recent history. Webster should be banned for the year. Draw a line in the sand AFL.
  4. There a lot of AFL players without the X factor. Tom Mitchell won a brownlow
  5. We would need a hell of a lot to go right. Already a gun down in the midfield, who can step up? Petty will be missing for the first few, we cant rely on BBB to fill that void, nor TMac who has been training with the defenders anyway. Max and May nearing the twilight. So I suppose my answer is no.
  6. Merry Xmas everyone, looking forward to the banter in 2024
  7. Yeah maybe, and I hope you are right! Reid is an exceptional young player. But I just think North hold the cards with 5 picks in the first 18.
  8. Dunno. But if they knocked back 4, future first and Brockman, they ain’t talkin to us! Besides, Lamb has already said he is happy to take 6 and 11 to the draft. We are not getting Reid, fanciful to think we are.
  9. Sounds to me that they are after 2 picks inside the top 6, one of which would be 2 or 3, so they can almost guarantee getting Curtin and another top 6 pick. In which case, North are the only ones who have the cards. I dont thin 6 and 11 will cut it, especially given they already rejected hawthorns 4 with candy
  10. Maybe I am missing something, but if WCE are so keen on Curtin, why not just draft him with pick one?
  11. No they won’t. Because they will fall into the same trap that premiers before them have, thinking that they already have the list to win multiple flags. And they don’t.
  12. Gutted. Yet again. The year that keeps on giving, not. Just feel feel so goddam low at the moment
  13. C’mon Tracc, give us something that we can all walk into work tomorrow with a massive Up Yours!!
  14. And there lies the problem. Until the umpires are called out about this, and explanations demanded, nothing will change. They are there to adjudicate, not influence the game.
  15. Yes, but imagine the conundrum the umps will have!
  16. When the game was on the line, the umps put the whistle away. Could I possibly hate Collingwood more than I do right now? Karma bus, where are you
  17. The first quarter tonight will be telling. I expect Collingwood will try to rough up the Giants, and get away to a flyer. If that happens, game over. If GWS can stick around, then there could be an upset. As for Brisbane Carlton, I think Carlton are a chance if their midfield can provide good supply to Curnow. With Payne out, I think it leaves Brisbane a little thin in defence. Although I do think it is bizarre that Carlton omitted 4 players from a winning SF team, that could have a destabilising impact.
  18. Totally agree, we need fresh eyes. Our midfield has gone backwards in the last 2 years
  19. And how do you think the player he would have replaced felt, not being out there when the final siren went? The sub was for injuries only that year, and the only one we had was May. Would you have dragged May? I think not.
