Fascinating watching us choose to kick it around the 50m arc 4/5 times throughout the match (as did Hawthorn) without penetrating and going for what feels like the 'usual' long bomb to a pack. I'm not sure if it was about conserving energy, a deliberate change in tactics (and be that, due to personnel) or whether it was due to Hothron, flooding back and filling in the spaces. Good to see though.

Getting greedy Rab...😆 It feels like this year, there are so many more matches than usual that go down to the wire. I am not sure if this is statistically correct - and I expect most of this match it will be 15 points to either team most of the match until the last few minutes again... sometimes it feels all a little contrived.

This can be more profitable for the club than hosting a game at their traditional home ground, especially if they're not expecting a large attendance. Grow the fanbase: By playing in different areas, clubs can attract new fans and members. Community engagement: Clubs can strengthen ties with community groups, local clubs, and schools in the regions they visit. Partnership agreements: Some clubs have established partnerships or sponsorships with territories, such as the Northern Territory, which require them to play a certain number of games there each year. The Melbourne Football Club has a strong association with the Northern Territory due to their partnership agreement, made many years ago, before 2023.

On Danny, My recollection of Danny - and I was born in 1979, was a good enough guy, but would get towelled up fairly frequently.
