Farewell Jesse Hogan
Draft picks are not overrated, the draft itself is. Draft picks get you stars like Kelly, Hogan, Whitfield etc.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
So you'd give up a pick 5 for a 27yo May STMJ? I wouldn't. But do think he is what we need, for the right price.

I also hope that in the back of Jesse's mind, he respects and demands us getting maximum value for him considering how the club have treated him through all of his issues since day one, I hope he says to Freo, I want Melb to be looked after, much like Danger did with the Crows.

How do we get Cerra, don't new draftees have to be at their drafted club for a minimum 2 years? Not making him available until 2019?

What has been the catalyst and sudden change for Jesse? eg; not wanting to extend contract and open to a trade? What has happened?

Sam Manure - the absolute diarrhea that spews from his mouth is absurd, cocky little know it all turd. In what planet is a) Wingard worth 2 first rounders and Hogan not, b) Steven May worth pick 5 and c) I can't even remember what I was going to write! I'd rather keep Hogan than be screwed around. The club surely wouldn't even consider that [censored] show of a deal. Can we trade Sam Manure and bring back Dennis Commetti? Coffee time.....on this beautiful Victorian spring day......

I think May will end up at Pies anyway. Some of the talk here of giving up a pick 5 or under 10 for him are out of touch. He's serviceable and definitely better than what we have, but we shouldn't move heaven and earth for him. I'm still of the opinion that we need a CHB and an experienced one. Lever to continue playing 3rd man up intercept role. We really need to improve our defence this summer.

Maybe the last two years of personal issues have caught up with him and he wants to be out of the spotlight and enjoy the rest of his life for what it is? Or he's had an offer to good to refuse, ie $1.5m x 7? The club is bigger than one player, we wish him well and we continue to build a premiership list.

Cam McCarthy? Yes he did, but that was GWS playing the hard game IIRC. Melbourne wouldn't be dumb enough, surely? He's actually fairly useless, that's why they want Hogan lol

For discussion sake, if Jesse stays this year and decides he wants to go next year, what are we likely to get for him vs what we could this year?

I do like the idea of Hogan or Weid playing CHB. Hoges has lost that contested aerial ability for whatever reason but his field kicking is quite good? Whereas Sam flies and has good presence. I like what Frosty brings also, but I'm done with heart in mouth backmen, we need consistently good decision makers. May, while no superstar, upgrades what we have for sure.

Yep which is what I said in a few posts after that, if it helps us get 2 early picks then so be it, as long as it's not overs I'm happy.

Hopefully all footage is lost mate!

Do you or anyone have any images of him in the Coaches box v WCE? He was at the Geelong game from memory, but I'm unsure of others.

Off topic, but earlier this year Fox went to a clip of Eddie McGuire going off his chops at a Collingwood game. Then Eddie clarified on TripleM on the Monday that he wasn't even at the game! So I don't believe anything anymore, those lengths are boundaries too far IMO.

Yep I'm with ya mate. I just wish they'd fix the rules they introduced first before going for more.

I'm unsure Cards, but I do remember someone, maybe Fox saying he was there?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
You'd hope he would be at the clubs most important training session and game surely, wouldn't you?

To show his support for the club and players before such an important game, I agree, red flag.....- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
I think coaches will counter this by making sure they try and force a stoppage straight away to allow to push players back if getting beaten. Just my thoughts, who bloody knows, I wouldn't have brought in this rule in the first place!- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
I wouldn't be surprised to see Frost traded TBH.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
It's only going ahead for centre bounces, so basically wont make SFA difference IMO. - Farewell Jesse Hogan
