  1. One of the main reasons I kept Foxtel for so long over Kayo was the quick rewind feature worked so much better. When Clarrie was on fire, there'd be multiple times in a match I'd have to stop and rewind to watch they way he'd just weave through packs and dispose of the ball. Faster than the human eye that bloke. Such good news to hear he is humming again. Being interstate, it was great to see some extended footage too. Caleb Windsor is going to be a club champion for us one day I think. JVR is now becoming a huge presence up forward for us too. Hope we get that super fast centred delivery into an open f50 going for him. Thanks for all of the reports folks.

It's like watching a continuous week of Tom Morris and fox footy. Dramadramadrama.

I'm sure the AFL will have it's fans best interests at heart whatever the outcome........
  4. Yes early in his career but he's changed his play a lot, so I don't really agree. Latest suspension was an absolute travesty. Moore slid low to take Kozzys legs out. Moore should have copped the suspension. Koz just braced for impact. And yes it will definitely hurt us at the start of the season but it definitely wasn't his fault
  5. Geez Chris Lorax working hard on those back page headlines.
  6. This article is a bit pus. No mention of Windsor who had a brilliant first season. Turner. Kolt likely to have an impact this year. Petty back into defence. I reckon they'll be angling for him to take over from May in 2026. And. It's not just about our forward line. All elements of our game plan need to be transformed and our coach has finally stated this. From the backline right through. No mention of this either. Maybe he's getting content for this article from a super coach forum. We can rebound if we can nail down a fast transition game style. We have the talent (pending no serious injuries) I think the players will love to embrace something new. I'm heading overseas for most of September in 2025, so expect us to run deep into the finals. 😁
  7. Look at the Lions and how they started their season to how they played those last couple of finals. It's do-able. We have the right blend of experience and youth. We need to be able to stay fit and also execute well. Foot skills and decision making. I am so happy that the coach has admitted our style is not up to winning a premiership and we're being very open about fixing it. It's about time. I think the players will relish the change after a year or two of frustration. Go dees
  8. Probably throw Brisbane in with that lot too.
  9. Too bad he can't slot in for Koz everytime he is suspended for multiple weeks after a player slides in to take out his legs (still fuming a bit from last season) Hope we can keep him with the club somehow. He's great to watch.
  10. Goldie Macca Kate Not sure after that
  11. I'm with you. He's an incredible talent and as tough as nails. What a fantastic year he had
  12. I don't think Musk or Zuckerberg have our best interests at heart either. As far as identity theft goes, there's a lot of corporations that have had massive data breaches with little ramification as well.
  13. I'd be interested in your view @Katrina Dee Fan, I kinda feel like the content from our Women's team is a bit more engaging than the blokes most of the time. Maybe they just naturally seem to be having a bit more fun? Dunno

And yep, no real change to fixtures much for the "product" as Laura calls it. Just less compression which is something I guess. Still only 12 games even though all KPIs improved. Is increasing to 14 games really that much of a stretch for next year? https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2024/nov/06/aflw-2025-season-congested-condensed-fixture-scrapped

Naaaah. They take it as seriously as they do looking after fans of the game and building grass roots footy clubs.

I think Goldie was our BnF for our club this year. She's was just consistently solid week in and week out even through our dive in form. Hope she's recovering ok. And yep Goldie, Macca and Hore should all be AAs. I don't want an easier fixture next year, I want to see a fair fixture for the whole comp! Each team should be playing each other once.

"She's playing her career of her final game" She is woeful

Very proud of our team. We would have given things a real shake if we'd snuck in. Amazing transformation mid season
  19. An incredible turn around mid season. Very proud of them. We'll miss Goldy, I think she's been our best this season. We've still got a heap out injured but we're playing incredibly well. Go the Blues.... By a point
  20. I reckon this bloke deserves to coach an AFL men's team one day. He's a wonderful leader, mentor and coach.
  21. Very proud of that last quarter effort. (Apart from the inaccuracy) We were out on our feet but just pushed so hard. Injuries just really destroyed us this year. Hope Goldy is ok. She looked to be in a lot of distress. That was a nasty know. Also a big shout out to the demon army. You make us proud. Thursday night in Cairns and you're flying the flag @Katrina Dee Fan and @walkingcivilwar
  22. And so many wrong calls on players names. She is trumplike
  23. Our best this season I reckon
  24. We look absolutely cooked. What is it about Cairns?
  25. Yep, we're plodding
