  1. 3qtr time. Dees 43 to crows 37 We should* be able to use the breeze and our run in the last
  2. Great response by the Dees with another goal this time by Zanker. Hard work kicking into this breeze. We seem to be adjusting to get to the front of the contest when going forward
  3. Crows got another to even it up but then we respond with a good mark and goal by Bannon. Dees 37 crows 31 Ump just stops a certain second goal to us
  4. A second to Caitlin Gould for the crows. Two big marks. We look a bit outsized for sure with a number of our talls out
  5. Crows using the breeze with some long kicking. 2 goals in a row. 31 dees 18 crows Pretty physical contest
  6. Yep you're right. Bugger that. I'll watch a replay
  7. Oh, is the praccy match being streamed as well. I'm trying to watch Goldy in the granny in Ireland via tg4
  8. 12.30 AEST time yeah?
  9. Sniff sniff sniff
  10. What's "the corridor"? Is that the bit where they run out on the ground?
  11. Yes, a reasonable player would have foreseen the collision and took no action to avoid the collision
  12. Can we give them any bigger of a sniff?
  13. I've never seen another team hug the boundary so much for so many years. Weirdos
  14. Gee that pass from Fritsch could have put Tracc back in hospital
  15. All three of them look pensive
  16. 25 mins of madness or... Sadness? There's a surprise Petty forward, Disco back.
  17. Good parent = get them into watching our women's AFLW team. A much more enjoyable team to follow who play hard for each other
  18. Gee, just watching the last 20ons after the pub. 3 mins to go, 50m penalty to the Hawks for absolutely nothing at all. 2 mins to go, an Adelaide player gets smacked in the face and penalised for htb. Glad the crows are going well. Go ANB go Burgess. We have a better list but they have absolutely everything else
  19. Might be the way to go. Zanker is improving year on year as our key forward. I always have faith in Mick and the team to make the right moves. I wish I had the same faith with the men and wish they'd use Mick as part of the coaching group. He could make an excellent match day strategist which we seemed to have missed since Yze departed. Anyways, I love the way the girls play for each other and how well they recovered after a poor start last year. It's going to be challenging again this year. I can't understand why there aren't more demonlanders on the AFLW bus. AFL is looking more and more like drama filled soccer players constantly throwing their hands in the air. The girls just get to work. Anyone know how to watch the wonderful Goldy play in the granny this Sunday?
  20. As mentioned a page or two back, I think the best scenario we could hope for is that Goody announces he'll finish at seasons end tonight. That would be the best outcome and get us focussed on finding a new young coach asap before the other clubs get rolling. We have to make changes now. Not in 6 weeks.
  21. You'd think if the board and management are any good, they'd find a way to just discuss it with both incoming and outgoing and come to a clear strategy either way. But they must do it tomorrow. I'm incredibly sad about today now. Another VFL / AFL record we've got ourselves. It's not a good one. There are good people on and off the field and they care about each other and they are trying really hard. I think the effort and want is there to do better. But when a workplace is broken, you have to be fair to everyone and make the hard decisions swiftly and decisively. The last two years of sliding have been hard for everyone. Some action needs to be taken no matter who loves who or who's a good bloke.
  22. What did we do? Subbed Windsor off We stemmed the bleeding by benching Koz and Melksham. Petty had a chance in the pocket 6 points in front 3 mins to go to and bash it through to get us 7 points up so we could ice the game. I saw Fritsch in St Kildas goal square trying to spoil while Petty was still looked to be up forward. I watched one of our club all time greats and posession gatherer run into goal clear to kick and hack it out on the full. Our skills and goal kicking are truly deplorable. I saw our team totally confused in the final minute while our mung bean coach looked like a startled deer in the headlights on the boundary. I saw a young st Kilda kid paid no respect and run free in the f50 with under a minute to go after kicking a goal a minute earlier. I saw Jeffo get dropped and Petty continued to be played forward when it just doesn't work. I'm happy to see us bleed now if we give the kids a go AND give them something besides complete chaos as a game plan. I saw us hug the boundary line week after week after week after week. I saw Disco continued to be played back when he could be the part of the solution. I saw us take the foot off the throat because we don't have the killer instinct to be the champion club we had the opportunity to be. The buck stops with the coach(es) and the board that hire them. Thank you Simon for bringing us a wonderful moment in time I'll never forget. But your record since that moment has completely crumbled. We became the hunted and every club has run us down.
  23. Geez how strong was Chandler to break that tackle at half back
  24. That should have happened 2 years ago
