  1. Yes definitely a focus on skills and crafting a game plan Is what we need from a refreshed coaching panel. Is Buckley too arrogant or aloof? I'm not sure. Goody was truly loved by the players, we don't want to go to the other extreme and get another Neeld. Somewhere in between perhaps. Thanks to the poster that collated the win loss records of experienced coaches. Horse way out in front. Yes Sydney had advantages but have a listen to Paul Roos interview on ABC sport a couple of days back. He really really rates our squad and it gave me a lot of hope hearing him talk about our list
  2. I'm not driving through 18 pages, so not sure if this has been shared. but this was a great little interview with Paul Roos. Gotta love him. ABC listenGoodwin sacked: Roos on why now and who's next - ABC listenIf Melbourne hasn't called John Longmire yet, club officials are 'berefet in their duties'. That's the view of the man who preceded Simon Goodwin, Paul Roos. In this bumper episode Roos reflects on Go
  3. It's horrible but I understand the need to get ahead of Carlton or any other club who might be chasing a new coach. We want to be a ruthless club, sometimes you gotta rip the band aid off. A lot on here were saying the board was paralysed. They've acted now and it's probably a few months overdue. It's all very sad but so is watching our players looking perplexed and dejected on the field. Best of luck Goody and thank you for a couple of wonderul seasons and some fantastic memories and really joyful victories and of course the flag. I hope he lands on his feet and can keep doing what he loves. But, it's time for a transformation. I hope we bring in some fantastic coaches and leaders over the next few months. Longmire seems appealing but maybe we need a new dog with new tricks?
  4. I think we're about to find out if we're finals worthy or not.
  5. Felt like a lot of those errors were in our back half trying to clear it at the start of the final quarter. I think our backline will be really challenged this year without Tahlia Gillard. She has a real presence down back even as a young kid. We'll miss her. Maybe Taylor Harris has to go back to give us more physical presence down there as someone has previously suggested. Really hope Kate Hore is ok or we'll miss that presence in the middle as well. Hobbled off late in the game. The girls ran the game out well and it was a pretty good hit out. Tyla Hanks had a great game from what I saw. Macca always in the thick of it too. Eden Zanker also had an impact.
  6. Macca making some good dashes through the centre and a nice pass to Kate Hore who goes back and kicks a nice goal. Crows fighting it out well. We're definitely trying to play on and run hard.
  7. 3qtr time. Dees 43 to crows 37 We should* be able to use the breeze and our run in the last
  8. Great response by the Dees with another goal this time by Zanker. Hard work kicking into this breeze. We seem to be adjusting to get to the front of the contest when going forward
  9. Crows got another to even it up but then we respond with a good mark and goal by Bannon. Dees 37 crows 31 Ump just stops a certain second goal to us
  10. A second to Caitlin Gould for the crows. Two big marks. We look a bit outsized for sure with a number of our talls out
  11. Crows using the breeze with some long kicking. 2 goals in a row. 31 dees 18 crows Pretty physical contest
  12. Yep you're right. Bugger that. I'll watch a replay
  13. Oh, is the praccy match being streamed as well. I'm trying to watch Goldy in the granny in Ireland via tg4
  14. 12.30 AEST time yeah?
  15. Sniff sniff sniff
  16. What's "the corridor"? Is that the bit where they run out on the ground?
  17. Yes, a reasonable player would have foreseen the collision and took no action to avoid the collision
  18. Can we give them any bigger of a sniff?
  19. I've never seen another team hug the boundary so much for so many years. Weirdos
  20. Gee that pass from Fritsch could have put Tracc back in hospital
  21. All three of them look pensive
  22. 25 mins of madness or... Sadness? There's a surprise Petty forward, Disco back.
  23. Good parent = get them into watching our women's AFLW team. A much more enjoyable team to follow who play hard for each other
  24. Gee, just watching the last 20ons after the pub. 3 mins to go, 50m penalty to the Hawks for absolutely nothing at all. 2 mins to go, an Adelaide player gets smacked in the face and penalised for htb. Glad the crows are going well. Go ANB go Burgess. We have a better list but they have absolutely everything else
  25. Might be the way to go. Zanker is improving year on year as our key forward. I always have faith in Mick and the team to make the right moves. I wish I had the same faith with the men and wish they'd use Mick as part of the coaching group. He could make an excellent match day strategist which we seemed to have missed since Yze departed. Anyways, I love the way the girls play for each other and how well they recovered after a poor start last year. It's going to be challenging again this year. I can't understand why there aren't more demonlanders on the AFLW bus. AFL is looking more and more like drama filled soccer players constantly throwing their hands in the air. The girls just get to work. Anyone know how to watch the wonderful Goldy play in the granny this Sunday?
