  1. Is this some sort of reverse psychology. Or a lack of any psychology altogether? Asking for a friend @Superunknown https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1757349/media-conference-focuses-defence-the-key?fbclid=IwY2xjawJsDmpleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHrOL2iUM__HlP1_acaZ9JklbuR08-jTHHO-79-OWzS6rESoprLhvFVQipJ7h_aem_2iOA2XJQFw7WS6x27KdSEw
  2. I really hate him and I'm fully committed to crossing over to the dark side and giving him as much love as he needs. AD would be an amazing get and I'm sure all of us would wrap our arms and legs right around him.
  3. But is he a lover? He did pretty well with a mediocre list most of the time.
  4. Jordan Lewis backed this up a fair bit tonight on the couch. Showed vision of how our centre clearance and dump kicks into f50 has come back in as a really bad habit. He said he was there when Yze came on board and changed their clearance work to look for the right handball and outside runners to carry it to the arc before kicking or even shooting at goal. You know, bang, bang, bang kinda stuff. But it's disappeared This is on the coaches first and foremost and then the onfield leadership.
  5. Sounds good. Let's get the lad in and run him around at Casey for 4 years
  6. Check out Chandler's body language in this clip This is not ok. A horrible place for this club to end up in in a very short timeframe really. 7. I love you too DD Getting all cheech and chongged for the remainder of the games this season is not a bad idea
  8. But we lost 5 of the last 6 games in 2024. So you could easily say we've lost 10 of the last 11 games now
  9. AJ is probably the only one I've seen doing similar. Maybe Langford and Langdon. Chandler was busting his guts too but disappeared last night.
  10. I think there's a second reason to act fast. The players. They look completely destroyed. Chandler looked to be close to tears post match. We'll lose a heap of good ones if we wait until seasons end. No guarantee they won't go anyway. But we need to give them a new start. I've said it before, I'd bring in Mick Stinnear. The women's team play for each other and love their footy. When things aren't working, he makes changes fast. He's a bloody good coach I reckon there's a stigma there about aflw being substandard, but he deserves a promotion to AFL coaching.
  11. Don't forget we had a football department review in October. can anyone name anything that's resulted in a tangible positive improvement for us?
  12. May has been playing injured for over 2 years. He's lost all closing speed. Lever is physical cooked as well
  13. A blanket that has a whiff of urine
  14. Christ, the footage of Chandler between Gawn and Petty talking to Jones. Chandler couldn't even make eye contact with Jones. He looked on the verge of tears. We looked completely lost.
  15. I am devastated about watching Kozzy play for another club. We're a step closer to a new coach I guess. The sooner the better.
  16. The sad thing is. We have Tracc, Pickett, Windsor, JVR, Clarry, Rivers, Langford, Lindsay. We're going to [censored] them all up. JVR will be a Jessie Hogan at another club. I love you all
  17. Chalk and cheese. Just shouting the same thing over and over is not coaching
  18. I'm sure he deviated course into Maynard's elbow. I'm sure boofhead has the red wine and choccies ready.
  19. Fix the root cause. Most players like playing at successfull (or those they believe are heading for success) footy clubs. Fix the root cause.
  20. And that's the thing right? Players gut running to make position and constantly not being rewarded. It must be grinding the whole team down morale wise. Viney is quite puzzling as he seemed to have improved his decision making and kicking into 50 last year. But this year it's just been horrible again.
  21. I agree. I think JVRs challenges are. Chaotic forward structure and delivery. A complete lack of confidence. Last year he was finally starting to clunk those marks and now he's gone completely backwards. His whole career here he's had [censored] delivery and no second big forward to really give him cover. Most of the time ending up under a bomb in a big pack getting pushed under the ball. I'd love to see two good key forwards working together in a well functioning team. I'd probably have to watch a different club though.
  22. I hope they're not paper, they'll explode 😁 One thing we don't see much of is people getting dropped for poor form and effort and those in the VFL getting rewarded. Why wouldn't you drop Fritsch and bring in Jeffo? It can't be any worse. You may as well give him a chance now.
  23. Richmond would have gone through this with Hardwick. There comes a time in any workplace when you've done a decade and it's time to move to a new environment and learn new things. The sooner we cut the cord, the better. I'd rather try Chaplin (or another assistant)for half a season or more and give them a fair crack at turning things around. The writing is on the wall and delaying it until the end of the season damages the players and the club.
  24. That's called a preseason
