agreed. i was surprised how poor he was. definite gun kick when given room, but when the heat was on his kicking and decision making was very ordinary.

and Tmac. he had a v good year. but to put it in perspective May was selected before him.

we have that pain now. in games we look all over the shop in how we position ourselves as a team. Right up until that second last game against hawthorn. watching it live you'd think we've never trained together and got cut apart.

watching the first quarter against the giants, they were getting the best umpiring run ive seen all year. never seen a side go into a contest ducking and lowering their body as much as the hawks. shame umpires are so poor now they get away with it.

Our first quarter and tackling all day was pathetic. We need a week on the tackling bags. Do that against the pies and it will be a disgraceful end to the season, and its all attitude to at least turn up !!

why is that ? he looks a great pick up. right now we are 7th last so with academies Essendon wont even get a top 10 pick. And that in a draft considered to be weak.

word is there is zero interest in Oliver. There is something wrong. After almost a full season he seems less fit, less acceleration and confidence is very low. i find it hard to believe he is living by the same standards this year as in his B and F years.

agreed. that and taking Windsor off the ground for one of our slowest, Spargo. Exactly what Ross Lyon would have wanted. they played witches hats in the last quarter. Premierships players, seasoned experienced players who were witches hats. unforgiveable.

Maynard and Cripps getting off was just plain nonsense. If this doesnt get up on appeal its a disgrace.

We had a good run no doubt, but no draft busts? hardly. 2016 was all busts except Mitch Hannan who played 50 games before delisting. I do agree it was a good run 2017 onwards but we still had busts such as Rossman, Nietschke, Kyle Dunkley. It was great recruiting.

well if we aren't that bad, lets win a chunk of games to finish the season. Then go into next season with genuine hope.

Yes at present I feel the opposition would like a May / Tmac / Turner combo the least. I think that forms a strong defensive unit. If Petty and Mayh are avialable this week, thats a real selection headache. and agree with most we have to play Jefferson.

the old played well against us, hes a gun trick. he did look good though. excellent kicking for goal.

agreed. the release to chandler for a goal was superb.

depends. were they making the calls when these guys were recruited ? I do agree on Jeffo, after 3 years he is way off it.

no his set shots on goal are poor.

agreed. i think there is enough there but he will need to be committed to make it permanently. i think he could become a 'clever' player, with some vitamin C to add.

totally agree here. the running efforts, lack of intensity were laughable. We gifted gold coast easy goals playing like witches hats.
