  1. Goody confirmed in the post match presser that Petty was a confirmed inclusion next week should he pass concussion protocols, which looked highly likely; and that Spargo is available for selection. So I see two changes to a team that won by 15 goals, which is a bit tough, but we’ll be better for them. I agree with the sentiment Schache will make way for Petts, as Schache came in for Petty in the first place. I reckon Harmes will be dropped, JJ to sub to make way for Spargo.
  2. That’s easy for you to say
  3. Not even Wiseblood could talk up a loss tonight, not that he’d need to. Looking forward to a strong performance tonight and an opportunity to tune the game plan.
  4. If he thinks anything like me, then I'm sure he wouldn't want to vomit on himself weekly having to pull on that jumper.
  5. I'm still having nightmares about TMac's kicking from CHB circa 2016, assuming that he comes straight into the lineup where Fritta was named.
  6. If you're going to tank, this is a good place to start.
  7. BBB does it week in, week out
  8. Just commenting on the fact Fritta was named at CHB
  9. Maybe their best defender is going to CHF to look after Fritta
  10. In a billion dollar sport, to have 5 games out of 9 umpired poorly or worse (and this week was not exceptional) is an indictment on the sport and the rules. Adding another umpire wasn’t/isn’t the answer, it feels like every contest needs to have a free kick paid at the moment (and they still miss some!). The goal line review technology is a joke. I wonder what the AFL actually do Monday to Friday to improve the sport.
  11. Yeah, but if you watch the telecast, head of the umpiring department Damien Hardwick immediately put his arms out so it was accordingly paid.
  12. I'd reckon it would be concerning to the AFL that only one interstate club is in the top 9.
  13. I’m looking forward to seeing what the highly fancied Harry Sheezel (hope I spelt that right) brings to the table.
  14. whale oil beef hooked
  15. It’s certain, at least to me, that Goodwin gave Viney 5 and Hardwick gave Taranto 5. Therefore, Hardwick must have given Viney 1 vote and Hibbo 4.
  16. This is how I read the issuing of those votes. Interesting, the coaches are generally a bit closer together than this. The 3 and 2 votes are interchangeable. Hardwick Goodwin 9 Tim Taranto (RICH) 5 4 6 Jack Viney (MELB) 1 5 4 Michael Hibberd (MELB) 4 3 Jack Riewoldt (RICH) 3 3 Max Gawn (MELB) 3 2 Clayton Oliver (MELB) 2 2 Jayden Short (RICH) 2 1 Christian Petracca (MELB) 1
  17. Goody did rule Spargs out for the game against the Roos in the post match presser on Monday night. I'd expect Spargs to be travelling to sunny QLD for a game next week (no intel, just a hunch).
  18. They have to feel like they won something
  19. Congrats to Jack Viney for winning the Checker Hughes medal. I’m glad this game has the medal in his name for best afield. For info, it was Checker Hughes that paid for and donated the Bluey Truscott perpetual trophy for our B&F shortly after Bluey died in 1943.
  20. Are you sure they weren’t saying Roo?
  21. Hibbo - no more kickouts Lever - very strong aerially McVee - won’t get dropped
  22. The umpires dept should officially apologise for missing Nibbler’s 50m penalty.
