Consistency the Key for Weideman
Exactly. The next step for me is for Weid to be 'inconsistent' rather than non-existent, in that we want to see him have a handful of big games this year. Not expecting anything close to consistent output, nor should anyone else. I really hope these comments come back to bite me in the [censored] though.

Consistency the Key for Weideman
Schache was 25 & 40. Weideman + 28 & 46 for a pick between 14-20 & a 4th or 5th round, perhaps a stretch - but won't be too far off the mark. I don't think he will have the ability to hold down the 1 or 2 spot this year ie succeed with us, but who knows, maybe he will show glimpses throughout the year that will entice another club to feel he might be an investment worth gambling on. Whereas with us after 5 years, it might be an investment we'd prefer to not continue with other players developing or wanting to be traded to us. Weid could slot into a 3rd tall spot with another club that views him as someone that will be able to become a key forward at the age of 25-26. Do we really have more than 2 years to give? We need an immediate impactful tall next to TMac to relieve the pressure on him. The one saving grace might be Mitch Brown giving Weid a little more time to develop and show he has a future with us by the end of 2021, when he's out of contract.

Consistency the Key for Weideman
I reckon he's going to be a key for us this year. ... The key to us getting back into the first round of this years draft that is! (In combination with some other picks) Sorry for the cheap shot, but i just don't think he has the ability to succeed with us.

Petracca Ready to Establish Himself
All valid points, i was just making a pun on the Martians 'roasts' comment above and also want him to have that balance of fitness and endurance as well as bulk muscle strength he can throw around. So not turn into a vegan stick insect! βΊοΈ

Countdown to Footy
Adelaide at Casey? If last year was the abberation, we've got 2 years age development into our list that demolished them by 100 and Adelaide are now rebuilding with coach stevie nicks... then i'm expecting the double tonne margin ?

Players that need a hair cut
On the contrary, Jonesy should grow it out and sport the horse shoe hair like Bruce Doull. It will strike fear into the small defenders!

Starting Midfield Unit & Depth
He's a smokey to win a rising star nomination, let alone miraculously win the rising star ? (I'm guessing you did not mean that, given Rowell will put up Sam Walsh numbers all year)

We need to dish up kale and spinach for him instead of roasts, if we want him to become a lean endurance athlete. ?- Who takes the FF position?
Took me way too long to rack my brain and realize who Brown is. I think we're not ready to forego the M. just yet. Give it a few rounds!- One thing you'd like to see in 2020
More than a km- Defining Success in 2020 - Is Just Making Finals Enough?
It's all about HOW we play this year. If we play well, but have a bit of bad luck or a few key injuries and just miss the 8, then I will look back on the year as somewhat of a success by comparison with last year. I think there will be a logjam of teams and you could make the top 4 or finish 12th in the space of round 22 and 23, depending on if you win or lose the fixtures. So it will be hard to begrudge the club if we so happen to be on the end of a bit of bad luck and narrowly miss the 8, given how thin the margins between everyone to be. Yeah Yeah, success means premierships, or top 4 and this is accepting mediocity. But after last year, mediocrity is success. Small steps.- Tomlinson or KK
The only question raised (and answered back in September) was probably: Frost or Tomlinson on the wing/dropping back into defense? I reckon the FD would have Tomlinson penciled in for 25/26 games this year.- Richardson Impressed
I don't know about new game plan, but fixing some issues with our current one? Theyve added Ratten & Brad Hill, so we first and foremost have to dominate at the centre bounce and deliver it to our forwards with precision! I think St Kilda and a few other clubs are probably going to still beat us at that two way running game, if we're messy and ineffective with our inside 50's.- Memorable Kickers
I remember being at the G as a kid when Darren Bennett kicked a set shot goal from inside the centre square.- Richardson Impressed
So we've got Richardson saying this and Nathan Jones saying mid year that Craig Jennings is (was) one of the best footy minds he's ever seen plus a compliment for his work with AFL X - I'm beginning to think we might need to appoint Jason Dunstall to give us an actual non-mfc appraisal of our coaches abilities. ? If we're down the bottom mid year, i hope he has a clear schedule.- Players that need the most development
