You would've got away with this comment in 2016, but now it's just not true. They're a 7th to 13th list on any given year, and that's the way I prefer it. Let em make a final, but never win one ? McGrath, Tippa, Daniher, Smith, Saad, Francis, Merrett would all be in our 22... A decent perpetual mid range list

We had the offensive tag role last year with Jordan Lewis making a defender accountable. Jones could play on Birchall with the intention to prevent him getting enough free space to execute his corridor passes, hang off him all day, but give us a goal scoring option the other way, with his customary 40m goals from congestion. Melksham could actually make way there imo with his lack of pressure I do want Tom McD for AVB in the side to take Harris Andrews away from Weid also as first preference. I'm just thinking of a speciality role Jones could play if he was to get in. Otherwise he comes in as an extra mid in 3 weeks time to give others a rest

We should be able to play 3 talls, especially now with our outside run and wing coverage. If we'd done it in past years, we'd be absolute fodder on the rebound. WCE have been doing it for years, so why not us? Harris Andrews is an absolute lock to shutdown Weid or TMac, with all due respect. He's the best defender in the game and the best Luke Hodge has ever played with. It would be better to have a decoy/negating forward on him running him out of our forward 50 or just playing a sacrificial role for the other two talls to spread and provide leads and a contest away from his influence.

Yup, and the arrogance too. His front on spoil to Luke Parker's face and flop to the push in response, sealed the deal for my distaste. At one point when he was run down in a tackle, the commentator said something to the effect of the whole footy world not wanting him to be tackled there, and to have a shot on goal, P*** off. I have a feeling I'm going to be cursing under my breath for a decade while he walks up to podiums and accepts medals.

Hope Mark Fine enjoyed that one. He has been venomous towards us, and gloatingly upbeat about the Saints, Justifiably so. But I do detect a bit of spitefulness towards the Dees (and thus the fans too) with a touch of over competitivness in the premiership drought club. Hate up Mark, not sideways!
