It must be daunting being interviewed by Gazz, Bucks and Johnno Brown, Jake looked calm relaxed and showed just how smart and articulate he is, he gave the whole Men’s Department a wrap.!!
-
Kade Chandler is a great story can you ask him how he is faring with his knee issues and how did he develop such a weapon with his kicking, running and marking.
-
Bravo WCW you called Bowsa for the Blues game and Selwyn just confirmed it.
-
It has definitely gone up a notch or two both quality and volume wise, keep improving MFC.💕

Steven and Rick have lead the No.1 defence in the AFL for the last four years, long May they reign.

I’d like to second that Mono, thanks Kev, WCW and all posters love your training reports and observations.!

Thanks radar, that would have been so special. In 2016 my wife and I did a cruise from Fremantle to Brissie and the ship stopped in at Milne Bay and we got to stand on the very airstrip that Bluey Truscott flew from in his Curtis Kittyhawk in 76 Squadron, it was surreal. Bluey and all members of our defence forces were so heroic driving the enemy back and forcing their re-embarkation!!!

Top effort, That will be a great read.!!
-
It’s a three way draw, Roos, Hawks and Eagles who will receive the most handouts from AFL.
-
Congratulations WCW that is awesome and a dear little Babcia Dee.❤️💙

I hear what you are saying Spiritons, JVR stays and I believe that Disco replaces The Joel Smith role and either Fullarton or Verrall replace the Benny Brown role. Hopefully Fullarton gets a good run at it whilst Verrall and Jefferson continue to build at Casey, plus McAdam gives us another x-factor option up forward. It will all play out over the next 6-8 weeks.!!

Agree DC I have watched it a number of times that handball had a touch of brilliance, no luck involved, he handled that ball like a 100 game star.
-
I have rewatched the second half a couple of times to try and get a handle on our performance, first half was woefully poor, Helter skelter kick and run get the ball forward at all cost turn the ball over and Tiges did the same thing, so hard to watch. Thank god for our backline young and older our style of play put them under so much pressure. Second half we moved the ball smarter and ground down the Tiges backline, we started to break even in the midfield and our forwards got on top. Fritta, Kozzie, Disco, the Duke and then Bill all showed some real class. Max, Rick, Steven, Riv, Blake Howes, Judd McVee, Alex and Ed Langdon all played four good quarters of football and Tracc, Jack, Sparrow and Clayton had better second halves. One thing that really stood out was Disco’s game, he has put his hand up for our vacant third tall role. I can see why our Casey followers are so excited by his endeavour, marking, kicking and footy smarts, stay healthy Daniel “Disco” Turner you offer a point of difference. Not sure about Harrison Petty should he swap with TMac so he can get some confidence back, Chin needs to find the ball more, JVR needs to hold his marks and Woey needs more game time. Next two weeks will be illuminating.!!

What a great breakout game from Disco the way he controlled the ball and hand passed to Fritta for a great goal was gold. I think we have found our third tall replacement.

Thanks DD I know that we are playing the long game to be better at the tail end of the season but we are performing below where we need to be to be more competitive. The next two weeks will tell the story, do we have to many kids in the mix, when do we introduce Fullarton, McAdam and Hunter into the side?? After watching GWS tonight they have the tools and the talent to bat very deep again this year.

6 - Max - BOG, Captains game 5 - Lever 4 - Rivers 3 - May 2 - Disco Turner 1 - Ed Langdon Kozzie, Howes & Billings next, how good to have a decent win with Clayton, Jack & Tracc not in the votes.
-
That’s pretty good seeing that it is only Hunters second hit out for the year, so building nicely and Tom Fullarton is doing himself no harm as well.

I had four uncles that served in WW2 two saw action one in New Guinea and one in Dutch East Indies (Indonesia), one was a despatch rider who was badly injured when he came off his bike in the MEast and one who served in Japan as occupation troops. However the one that we think most about is my father-in-law who was in the 8th Division, he fought down through Malaya, captured in Singapore, he spent time in Changi, Burma Railway, back to Changi and then shipped to Japan to work in a mine until the war ended. He was located not far from Nagasaki and he and all prisoners were told that as soon as the US invaded Japan that they would all be executed. He told my wife that when the war concluded the Yanks parachuted in food supplies to them in Red, White and Blue parachutes and that he still got a tear in his eye when he thought about those huge planes and those beautiful parachutes bringing food and supplies to them as the Japanese troops had cleared out when the ceasefire was declared.💕

How good would it be to have Another Yze at the club and eventually playing for us, Noah is a good height and if he is anything like Adem he will be a beauty. lets hope he has a great year in the Coates League.

We could always transfer some of the slower ones from Casey.!!!

That is great to see George OTO. Need a couple more wins on the trot now to maintain the momentum.😁😁

Very humorous Redleg.😁

I love this type of close up expose of Harrison being wheeled into the operating theatre, the footage of the Specialist, the administering the anaesthetic, then the long recovery period, etc, like previously mentioned I crave this kind of behind the scenes documentary. Top shelf MFC, Harrison, fitness and coaching staff.💕

I believe that we got absolutely everything right in 2021 including our Indigenous Guernsey and that should be our “gold standard” going forward. Once you reach perfection it is hard to emulate.!!
