Welcome to Demonland: Tom Campbell
If Fox are correct let me be the first to say welcome aboard Tom Campbell you are most welcome at the Dee’s, and I say to MFC that was the biggest hole that we had to fill going into 2025.!!!😁👍

Andrew McQualter - Appointed coach of the West Coast Eagles
Congratulations Andrew McQualter a good pickup for WCE, unfortunately I dislike them immensely and cannot wish you the success that you will seek. But we’ll done on winning the No.1 Job.

Andrew McQualter - Appointed coach of the West Coast Eagles
Is it a coincidence that you didn’t mention Power much more successful than Hawks over the last 7-8 years dfa?

With the press and opposition clubs and supporters, you never give a sucker an even break, why expose our short comings to these dingoes to chew over?? Highlight our strengths by all means but never ever flag your weaknesses.

For those who underrate our 2021 premiership…
Thanks Lexinator that would definitely be the extra icing on the cake, I just doubled up and watched “Sound The Alarm” to get my full fill of our ‘21 Granny such a good production, so many key people no longer at the club.

For those who underrate our 2021 premiership…
After watching and enjoying the Lions Vs Swans game I took myself off to watch Every Heart Beats True and fast forwarded through the bad old times. I felt happy and contented again watching all those finals highlights, the Granny, post game and speeches, what a time to be a Demon. Really hopeful that we can bounce back and possibly snare another at the G.

How typically Melbourne Brodie Grundy
I thought that Grundy and JJ tried but Swans were outclassed all day apart from those first two goals, totally ineffectual. I thought that Lachie Neale was very stiff not to win the Norm Smith Medal clearly the best for mine.

Nathan Bassett to Dees as Forwards Coach?
Agree monocular we looked pretty good early but we dropped off quite a bit as we lost key personnel and had torevert back to a more predictable defensive game plan to limit damage. We really do need Max, Tracc, Clayton and JV playing their best footy so that we can get the extra benefit out of Sparrow, Rivers, Langdon, McVee, Windsor, Kozzie, Chandler and Tholstrup through the middle.

Welcome to Demonland: Tom Campbell
Let’s get him in, Campbell covers off our weakest link and we can then focus on bringing in 5-6 draftees and youngish players plus Yze to bolster our stocks to build suitable depth for another crack at finals.

2024 List and Contract Details
Well done red and blue forever, so if Adam Tomlinson moves on, we work out a deal for ANB and we don’t re-sign Marty Hore we have a lot of spots to fill.!!!

2024 List and Contract Details
We don’t have to fret any more as MFC have advised that Lachie Hunter effectively retired today.

Nathan Bassett to Dees as Forwards Coach?
Jnrmac to be fair he did coach the Power fwd line during his 8 year stint there and who knows who else is available, I’m sure the coaching brethren would be across who and what is available.

Nathan Bassett to Dees as Forwards Coach?
Nathan Bassett has had a long and varied career in SNAFL and AFL, 210 games with Crows, Coached Redlegs to three consecutive Grand finals winning two, 2 years with bummers then 8 years with Port as fwd and backline coach finishing up at the end of 2023. Spent 2024 back at Redlegs in a FD management role and has a lot of experience with player development as well. We traded the boy back home due to serious injury, I am interested in seeing what the man can bring back to the Dees.
- Three years on

Wade Derksen
That is the burning question Dee Boys, we know that three of them are on the rise, we need another three to show their worth next year and the other three to be ready to roll in ‘26. It all comes down to development, we need to snag a great forward & ruck coach asap. We do not want to waste these youngsters.😁

The good thing out of this is we are building a group of youngish talls with potential that we have previously lacked. Petty 197cm, Fullarton 200cm, Verrall 200cm, Adams 196cm, Jefferson 196cm, van Rooyen 194cm, Turner 194cm, Kentfield 194cm, Derksen 194? Maybe. This group have the potential to grow together and cover all KPF and KPB positions at VFL/AFL level given we have Max, May, Lever & TMac as our 4 tall leaders. We desperately need a mature tall to fill in for Max in an emergency.

1924 AND ALL THAT - PART SEVEN by Whispering Jack
Thanks WJ love these historical snippets 1925-26 was a critical period in time for the VFL and MFC.👏

1924 AND ALL THAT - PART SEVEN by Whispering Jack
You’ll get no argument from me 58er, we have the experience, class and exuberance of some quality youth, need our best fit and a memorable draft a La 2019 and we are on our way. Fingers crossed we get some Lady Luck in 2025-2026.

2024 Brownlow Medal
Obviously the umpires voting on Blues games are crippscentric and the umps voting the Pies Games are Nickcentric even when Josh is the best of the two. Those final count numbers are way off line for where both clubs finished and the closeness of some games!!!!
