I believe that Peter Walsh was one of those players that we all loved but also took his work rate and courage for granted as we were to focussed on the stars that were playing with him at the time.

Agree with GW hope that Will Verrall does get a run, he frees Rooey up to do what we recruited him for, also hoping to see Riv and Spaz get a lot more out of themselves over the next 9 games. Thanks DD it is quite sobering that Max has gone from No.2 to 1, Clarry has clawed his way back to No.2 and a battered Tracc has worked his way back to No.3 and Bowsa 4, Kozzie leapt to 7th and turner, Lindsay, Langford, Windsor, Howes and Chandler all wedged into our top 23.

My view is that Ed Langdon is a specialist winger, play maker, taking him off the wing to play a high h/f role is creating a net loss for the team. I would prefer Windsor rotate with Langford wing/hf, not many can emulate Ed Langdon and the Duke is stagnating. Fix it Goody, Chunk, Bassett ASAP.

Thanks DD we looked cooked and these stats bare that out, Tracc, Claz,JV, Rick, Salo, Ed Langdon, Riv, the Duke, Melky and Petty all below par at the same time. It’s obviously contagious, performance management has taken a real dip. I would have liked to be a fly on the wall at the after game meeting after that game. Very unusual for Ed Langdon and Riv has fallen off a cliff.

Is anyone aware of why Marcus decided to leave on the eve of the AFLW season or where he might be headed, seems to have been a bit of movement in the AFL over the last month or so.

Those stats for MFC are the harsh reality of 2007-2017, 2019-2020 and so far in 2025. We really do have to fight our way back to relevance, we have had so little of it.

Agree we need to continue to strengthen our list but our star players are contracted and still playing good footy, we just have to utilise them better whilst getting games into those player that the FD believe have the talent and desire to make it.

I’m not worried about Media Madness, I am more worried about DLand madness, our three highest ranking players in 2025 are Gawn, Oliver and Tracc and by some margin. True Tracc is 13% down on his 2024 form where he was in dominant form prior to his life threatening injury however, all in all he isn’t far off his previous level and now we want to trade him. He was our highest ranking player Vs Pies, WTF are people thinking????

Andy M-W is looking very agile and strong with 6 months to get full fitness back look forward to seeing him runaround in 2026. Well done Andy.

Call me naiv’e , stubborn, loyal or what you like, Our Great FC is on the verge of securing an Elite Training and Administration centre within a 10km radius of the CBD that will meet our needs for our foreseeable future. The fact that they have identified a more suitable location for our administration centre on the Caulfield site reassures me that this exercise is on track and until our club advises us all that this is no longer the case, I wait in full anticipation of a successful announcement and I shall not revisit this site until this occurs.😁👍

I know Dr. Gonzo my grandson was looking at me strangely when I approached the TV on Sunday and yelled aim for the bloody right hand goal post Max it’s not that hard but no Max knows best. I think that you are on the money OD, I like the idea of Will Verrall playing fwd/2nd ruck, he had 20 touches and 44 hit outs Saturday night. Think Rooey CHF, Matty Jefferson FF, Fritta HFF, Verrall on the bench, Petty FB, Disco CHB, Rick back to Casey until he finds form and confidence. It won’t happen but who knows??

16 marks i50 to our 10, game set and match, they had 7 of the top 10 players. We won a lot of Kpi’s including territory but their uncontested game opened us up time and again.
