That game was hard to watch, our bottom eight were never in the fight and even though we fought back late still couldn't kick a goal to save ourselves. We leave their goal square free, no leadership in defence. They defend our goal square like their lives depend on it and how many goals did Heeney save on the last line.......??????????????????????? Like many on Demonland I never saw this coming and was immediately a bit shocked given our rivalry (hatred) of Collingwood. Even Lyon sounded shocked on SEN this morning, however, the more I think about it the more that I am warming to the idea. He was involved in a dramatic rise of that other club and I really crave getting back to where we were in 1964. Very professional once again MFC and despite some of the whip lash, Collingwood would not have been big enough for both of them. The last 10 years have been extremely tough but my wife (ex-Pie) and three daughters have all stuck with the Dee's. the Woewoden, Neeld and now Watts move has tested their faith though. We really deserve to see some September action in 2018. We haven't received our memberships yet. Go Dee's!!!!
