How come Pot Adelaides new fitness guy Darren Burgess or whatever his name can get Port up to AFL fitness standard in one pre season? They were just as worse last year. Blokes there were breaking their skin folds and turning up in poor condition. Mission has made us look very slow. Needs to go.

Yep we arent an attractive clube. And this is why we are chasing Roos. The club believe not only is he a good coach but he has that presence and charisma to attract players to our club. If we do get a priority pick expect that to be put on the table.

Basically what we all know and that it will be only be experience coach appointed. Nothing on Roos or Eade. Oh and Gary Ayres has been contacted.

Jack Watts getting massive interest from adelaide crows. Geelong also intrested in Watts but crows heavily into him. As are Carlton. Taylor Adams high on Melbournes list but is apparently not intrested in coming to us. Collingwood showing strong interest in Sylvia. Again said he told peter Jackson no but remember from what we know Roos spoke with PJ basically after Neeld got sacked. As you can see Roos is a massive PJ fan and is impressed by his work. The way I see it is if there right people are in place ( Which I think we are starting to have, plus hopefully Geoff Walsh) then he will take the job. At the start i was never confident at all with Roos coaching us. Thought we were a long shot but as i said recently we are seriously in the box seat. Roos was really turned off with brisbanes managment of Voss and basically the reason why he was sacked. Wasnt impressed at all. Is a massive fan of what PJ has done so far and i believe the article he posted about our best 22 couple of weeks ago made him think hard about coaching us.

Don't know if anyone knows but Billy was selected in the level 2 AIS team earlier this month. Hearing good things about Billy! Also there is a kid by the name of Harry Viney who plays for North Adelaide under 18s and bit of a goal kicking forward? The son of Jay Viney but haven't heard much else..

Nah I totally agree with you aswell. I thought West was a bit stiff to be shown the door by Neeld. I remember blokes like Mckenzie, trengove Gysberts and even bail were playing some terrific footy under him. I was pretty disappointed that he got the chop only to be replaced by Chocco Royal..

I love how people think that guys like Conca would even hint at the idea of ever coming to melbourne. Is in a team thats bound for sucess for the next ten years and destined to become one of the biggest clubs in the AFL. Conca would absolutely laugh in our face. Not many players are not wanna come to melbourne and this is thanks to Cam Schwab and Chris Connelly and the culture they set up. Its going to take a while to get rid of this Cancer Culture but we will get there.

your a joke thought you were better then that. Aaron changed the game single handly and he deserves absolute respect for that. He also did alot for the MFC and he deserves all respect like any other player thats played over 150 games for melbourne let alone AFL. ask any past melbourne player what they think of him and all you will get is the amount of respect they have for Davey. Disgraceful post. Aaron has given us a great service and you have the guts to pot him. Unbelieveble some of you supporters! He was playing good footy before his knees started getting dodgy. And Aaron provided valuable leadership to thos other indigenous players. But wasnt his fault they tragic circumstance.

Spot on. This is why GB said we needed mongrol because for too long we have been percieved as very soft and so we bloody should! Though i believe tToumpas will be a good player it should have started off by picking up Wines first. The formidible duo him and jack viney would have made would have set the tone for this club and the future. If we had Wines i would been all for Aish but we need Headunters and physical grunt! This is why we should be chasing Dunstan hard. The guy is tough as nail and will make the same impact as what Wines did this year. Im so over skinny outside class atm we are in desperate need of grunt. We have jones viney and Mckenzie.. thats it.

Its how you build your foundation to set you up for the year. It make a hell of a difference when you complete a full pre season. If toumpas has a solid summer on the track injury free expect a different player from toumpas next year.

Im still on the Luke Dunstan bandwagon and also nathan freeman. Both strong physical players that can crash pack and add massively to our midfield. Aish would be good but we really do need some inside grunt to help Jonesy out.

Massive potenial even bigger then Watts who i think is very overated and soft.
