I have supported Frawley and said he would be a massive loss but now I reckon he is seriously gone and I couldn't give a flying toss to be honest. Fact is Roos isn't afraid to go out and spend big if he has too. Doesn't matter who it is. He also has the ability to get these types to perform on the footy field fit them into the culture he is building. Carey turned down Roos because he just wanted to be close to family and friends. As he mentioned it was quite a lucrative package. Same as for Fevola. To me that puts to bed the perception that Roos won't spend big. If the right player if there then he will.

People saying that Roos wont go for the big name players are kidding themselfs. Roos met with and offered Wayne Carey and Brendan Fevola lucrative offers to come play at the Swans. They both turned it down. Dont be surprised if Roos does go for a fyfe or a Dangerfield. He wants to make this club better so why not go for the best in the business.

I would love to see one game Where Jordie just goes out there and play. No tagging or anything just go out and win his own ball. He already has a good defensive mindset so why not try and get a bit of attack and hunt into. Showed at Casey and even at the start of his career he can win fair bit of the footy.

Jimmy Toumpas and Luke Tapscott were our leading tacklers with 6 each. Jimmy Toumpas is developing just perfectly.

Everytime we play them he always seems to play really well. Good solid contested mark and good kicking from what I gather.

The problem McDonald has is he needs to know his limitations. Too many times he tries to run around or take an opponent on too much. If its not that its trying to be too cute with his kicking. But unfortunately we dont have the dashing half back flanker with sizzling skills to feed it off too. Haven't had one since Aaron Davey use to play there and set us up.
