No worries, I'll put my hand up on this one and own it.

You seem to know this as fact. Your argument seems to think you're just guessing more then anything. From what I have read froma number of reports now, Perts contract finished up at the end of last year.

The Logan Morris Thread
Yes. One of his strengths is his contested marking. He is a one touch grab player.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Considering he's starting on the bench every game and is playing reduced minutes then i think it would be a fair assumption that he's clearly not at the fitness levels he should be.. and it shows. You used an example of changing body shape as they get older which whilst i do agree to some extent, take Patty Cripps for an example. The guy has been lean and cut his whole career year after year. Oliver on the other hand went from lean and cut to looking overweight. Its been well documented how poor of a shape he came back last year but whilst he's worked hard in the pre season, i'm not entirely sure he does his extra's outside of the club.

The last person we hired that had little to no AFL experience was Paul McNamee.. How did that turn out? Unlike others i have no issues with his alliance with Essendon. But he's going to be dealing with football department matters and it's a completely different ball game compared to what he's previously done. He wouldn't have an ounce of insight into how that all operates so yes, it will be an incredible challange for him.

Is that opinion or just what you've heard?

Xavier Lindsay- Round 7 Rising Star
Reminds me so much of Steele Sidebottom. Incredibly classy.

Xavier Lindsay- Round 7 Rising Star
Yeah, i get what you mean. The way i look at it was there wasn't really any other leading contenders from any other youngster from the other games so i think that's why he may have gotten this week's nomination.

Potential Father Son Prospect Noah Yze
#18 Noah Yze (Casey Demons) Forward/Wing | 191cm | 12/04/2006 Having been overlooked by Melbourne as a father-son candidate last year, the son of Adem is staking his claim right under the Demons’ noses at Casey. He got on the board early with an impressive long-range set shot and often used his big frame to absorb pressure or contact. Yze showcased a strong set of hands in some instances but also spilled a few straightforward marks as he roamed up the ground. He ended up slotting another set shot goal to level the scores in the third quarter to make up for his previous skill errors, and was among the Young Guns’ best.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Once again, Max Gawn on triple M yesterday morning laughed off at suggestions that Petracca made a rousing speech after the Freo game. Pretty much implied that it never happened.

Can't say I'm all that impressed with this appointment. The fact that we need to get him up to speed from a Football perspective is already a concern in itself.

As in said in the previous thread. He hasn't been picked for the SA under 18's squad which is usually a good gauge on there they are at from a development perspective. His form seems okay but don't know whether it'll be enough for him to get drafted.- The Marcus Prasad Thread
Prasad is very similar to Kako/Watson. Very small but incredibly nimble and slick Going to be fun watching him develope for the next 12 months or so.- Toby Sinnema

I beg to differ- PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
Yeah interesting. On the eye test I would not have picked him at all. You said he had 5 touches when he actually only had 3 as listed on AFL stats. Imo there were at least 10 other players that were far better then Spargo in the 3rd quarter i thought. Actually ten is probably being kind.- Welcome to Demonland: Harvey Langford
- PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
What's that's based off sorry? 3 touches for the quarter including 1 tackle. I'm keen to know on what merit was he judged as one of our higher rated players for that quarter. - Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
