And lets be honest.. they are delisted because they are all spud or moved on because they are not seen in future plans.

But there is no better game for me then the preliminary final against North when Wiz went absolutely berserk! He was playing an angry man that night after not getting near it against Carlton. Stephen Powell dominated that night kicking 4 goals from the midfield. A beauty from outside 50 near the boundary.

Was just a simple opinion. Certain players can bulk up and some can't. And personally i think Parish will bulk up to have a good afl midfield body in 3 years time.

Because i compare the way his physique is to Nat Fyfe. Not saying Parish will become a big bodied beast like fyfe but Parish is very toned and cut atm and players who are built like that somehow seemed to bulk up well enough. You look at someone like Billy Stretch for example probably same build as parish and already we have noticed how significantly bigger he already looks compared to 12 months ago. Watts Morton and Toumpas struggled to bulk up over the years because they came in wi5h a body shape of a 12 year. All arms and legs and thats it. They never had the footballers build like the Nat Fyfe who was able to bulk up significantly. Maybe also they all had different metabolism aswell.

Watching it now. Steven Stretch would have had no problems fitting in todays game. Absolutely classy with ball in hands and his kicking was fantastic by the looks of it.

Was great. Anytime i could attend i found the demonland posters to be actually top blokes.I remember living in melbourne at the time after one game we went back to a richmond pub and sunk few pots with some demonland folks and it was definitely great experience.

Looking at Parish frame he looks like the kind of build that will bulk up pretty easy. Once he gets a big bigger we'll see him lining up in the center circle roving off Gawnys taps. For someone who is quite slight and small he is ridiculously good overhead.

Next year the coaching staff need to leave Watts inside the forward 50 and told he has 10 weeka to show why we drafted him as a forward. No more shedding weight in the expense of playing in the midfield. Club needs to just back him in one position and told be creative and kick goals.

I had a real soft spot for Lukey Power. Very underated but was an absolute gun who could run all day and gave brisbane great service over the years.Before the game changed into a real arobic running style we forget how physically big and powerful these guys were also. They ragdoll any opposition teams that tried to get under their skin. I enjoyed watching the brisbane era.

Agree, Aker on his day was one of the most explosive players in the game. Its a pity he is more rememberd for his off field antics Rather than what he did on field because i really enjoyed watching him play.

Wouldnt be against him at all if Curnow or Weideman aren't available. He is a great prospect as he can play as a 2nd ruckman to give Gawn a rest up forward. Bit of Tom Lynch from GC about him.

Not really actually.. i am one of Watts biggest critics but Petracca is coming from a long way back from injury. He will be eased into pre season footy very slowly. Lets not forget Petracca has not played senior footy at any level in his career so the intensity and speed of the game will come as a real shock to him. It will take him a couple of weeks to adjust to senior footy just like Brayshaw at the start of the year. With the sub gone and interchange rotations down to 90 Watts will hopefully become very important for us as he has the ability to gut run and create space. Infact Watts hard running doesn't get the reward he deserves from his teamates. Now one of Petraccas biggest weakness is his not a hard running midfielder or half forward at all. Does alot of his work in close. In fact his endurance needs a bit of work.. a fair bit now considering he has had a year off. He is going to blow up big time in the first couple of games. So to put Petracca ahead of Watts in round 1 is laughable. I am just as excited to see Trac next year no question at all but Watts is ahead of him atm.

Actually more of a half forward/midfielder.. i have no doubt if he didn't do hos knee he would have stayed up forward all year.

That Andre Parella is a man nountain. Would definitely be my first preference. I like Greg Clark aswell. Hard running player who is expected to fall that way. Closest i have seen to the next Andrew Embley.

These two picks id use on a big bodied developing ruckman and a tall outside wingman with some speed and creativity.
