  1. James Jordan dominated that quarter with 8 disposals. Played as an inside midfielder and was very impressive.
  2. Well said and great idea mate

Dont think it really matters for his sake does it? 3 flags already to his name. Has a lot of mates still at the hawks, get a good pay and set yourself up well for the next 5 years. His brother on the other hand might look at a top successful club instead
  4. Been like that for years
  5. This is funny because it legit could happen.... yuck
  6. I will be at a footy function with free grog for 3 hours! So by the time final siren goes and we lose at least i wont feel any pain as i will be legless.
  7. I remember his first press conference with us and he stated he wasn't really interested in coaching when his playing days are over. Obviously time could change that but who knows
  8. In regards to Jordan Lewis, is it been confirmed by anyone that he is staying on a cosching capacity?
  9. Nigel Lappin and Blake Carecella are two coaches i would be talking to. If the rumours are true that we will be trying to lure Brendan Bolton then that would be a huge get! I like Ben Matthews as our midfield coach, i think he has shown with our young on ball brigade that he is capable of developing good midfielders. I would add someone like a Brett Kirk next to him.
  10. Whats your thoughts on Devon Robertson mate? I didnt get a chance to watch his game today but has been impressively consistent throughout the champs.
  11. Veey likely even if we have a pick 5 to 7.. I expect the likes of Anderson, Rowell, Serong, Young, Kemp to all feature around the top end mark.
  12. RSN Breakfast Club @RSNBreakfast "Melbourne are quite keen to talk to him about a potential role for next year." Julian de Stoop says the Dees are coming for Brendon Bolton #RSNBreakfastClub Yep! I like this a lot! He was highly regarded at hawthorn for his development and positive relationship with the players.
  13. Have watched Ash a couple of times with the bushies as i am back doing some work for their under 16 developments squad. He is a beauty, plays across half back and puts his speed to good use. Ability to set up from half back but also rebound and intercept are quiet elite. Next stage for his development is transitioning towards more midfield exposure. Very driven individual who shows fantastic leadership (named co-captainfor Vic Country) and maturity beyond his years.
  14. Yeah lets bring in an already injury prone player to add to our list of players we have going. ??‍♂️
  15. This. I'll take this concern from and Elite Performance Manager over any regular track watcher.
  16. No mate, why should i read yours when ypu didn't even read mine back a couple of posts? I clearly said our issue right now is all atitude. I even put the numbers of our lack of tackling pressure from our starting mids against brisbane. Something we have built our game on and we got completely torn to shreds in that category. Whether we have mentally checked out or not something is not right up stairs.
  17. Wait... Weren't we told on here during the summer that our players weren't having an interrupting pre season??
  18. These were the starting midfield that spent the most time in the midfield in center bounces and around the ground. Martin, Lyons, Zorko, Neale McCluggege all combined for 27 tackles for the day. Gawn, Viney, Oliver, Brayshaw, Harmes all combines for just 13 Tackles..
  19. Cale Morton
  20. That to me shows its an attitude issue right now. To lay 2 tackles for an entire quarter is absolutely disgraceful. Brings back haunting memories of the Mark Neeld days.
  21. I saw the Lewis interview and immediately thought of these 3 ..Brayshaw, Harmes, Oliver. All 3 played Hollywood style football on the weekend and only ran one way.
  22. Why? It's a spained ankle mate.. 1 to 2 weeks off and he'll be fine. Its not like hes broken a bone or done any ligament damage.
  23. Since the great Chris Lamb
  24. Lets talk draft now.. Players to keep an eye our for this weekend. AFL under 18 championships 2019: Final chance for young guns to star on the big stage
  25. Agree with you on this highlighted area 100% the 1st two round draft picks for Lever was in my opinion bizzare.. i would have easily been happy with 1, but the fact we gave up 2 was a mistake. Im excited that we'll have a top 5 pick this year because there are some seriously talented young players in the top 10 this year. Anderson, Ash, Kemp, Serong are names to keep an eye out for. Experienced mentors of names I'd look at is, Brad Scott, Alan Richardson (if he gets the chop) Mathew Knights, Michael Voss, Brett Ratten, Nigel Lappin, Blake Carecella.
